CHLOE ( aged Tortie Point Persian)
*** Missy has returned home today (Tues 29th) ***
OWNER FOUND
Her name is Missy. Her family are new to Medallion Drive, Oteha from late February.. Missy got out and they have been looking for her. She was microchipped but that chip has failed. The family missed my first posts because they hadn't yet joined the Community pages. Kayla spotted my post tonight (Saturday night) and contacted me. I am so happy I can reunite her with her family. A good result all round. Due to hours of work she will go home about mid week.
Snowflake playing with her blue mousie.
Please excuse my mess.
This is the other side of Snowflake, being playful with her blue mousie. She loves toys and loves play, but she has cost me vet bills clawing my British girl in her eye. Snowflake is over 2yrs old now and is becoming the Alpha cat. I'm not sure yet what this means for my household. Time will tell. For those that don't know, Snowflake is my wildie, in the process of rehabilitation.
SNOWFLAKE - 23rd Dec 2021
Snowflake is still challenging. Everything is on her terms. I'm only good for food and the electric blanket, otherwise I don't count. She really is little Miss Anxiety. She is progressing slowly though as she doesn't always hide for her midday sleeps now, but other cats are her security blanket especially Bear. She loves the boys. I'm just the staff who resides in her house, lol.🤣 I woke up last night not knowing what hefalump was lying on my legs and it was her. At this rate, it might be 5 years before she chills, if ever. She has been with me now for 22 months. She now weighs 4.5kg. I had her bloods done and she's FIV & FeLV clear.
Video taken 4th June.

These kittens are being desexed 26th Feb & 5th March, then will be available for adoption.
I will require photo identification of yourself, proof of address, permission from the Landlord if you rent, proof of home ownership if you own property.
I need to know if you have other pets, how many children and their ages, how many in your home and your knowledge on cats/kittens.
It's not first in, first served. It's the best home for the kitten. I reserve the right to say where my kittens go.

Sweetpeas Litter
Sweetpeas babies. All adorable. Nearly 6 weeks old. All for adoption later after desexing etc. 2 boys & 2 girls. All will be desexed, microchipped and vaccinated once they attain 1kg in weight.
Two hungry "cat flu" kittens making up for lost time. They went to the Vet again Monday 20th Apr. The brown tabby was skeletal, but has gained a massive 900gms in 4 days (1.9kg). The little red guy has gone from 865gms to 1.4kg. He went backwards and had to go back on antibiotics. They are on their 4th can of Royal Canin Baby Cat Mousse today. The brown tabby has a lot of making up to do as he is skeletal. These cans are about $3.29 a can.
Yes I could use a Supermarket diet, but at the detriment of the kittens. Sick kittens need quality food for their bodies to fight a Virus. They are also on a high energy vitamin/mineral supplement to help fight illness. Needless to say I also go through bulk cat litter, so I could really do with your support. Rescuing has not stopped through lockdown and PPE is observed. I am now supporting 22 cats/kittens on my own.

So I took this little feral boy to the Vet today, had him assessed and given medication. He has a hacking cough and is very chesty. I have now been to the Vet 3 times in a very short period....17th Apr, 20th Apr & 22nd Apr. All 3 times, it's for 3 kittens. Look at this video of the wee boy. Cats & Kittens suffer, when not desexed and not vaccinated. Antibiotics do not stop the progression of a Virus, all they do is to kill any bacteria that might be present. The Virus runs it's course. We use heating pads, steam inhalation, nebulizers, high energy vitamin/mineral concentrates and Vets to try and get them through these illnesses at great cost to us. I am now supporting 22 cats/kittens on my own. Rescues can only continue their work with donations or we are handicapped. We really need your support.
