The royal litter (now 6 weeks old) visiting children's classrooms today was a big step in their socialisation journey!

A puppy's most important socialisation happens between the ages of 3-16 weeks and peak sensitivity is 6-8 weeks so it is important for a breeder to start this process for you before they come to your home.

Socialisation reduces the number of things in the world that frighten a puppy by continually providing the experience of first being afraid (while in a safe environment) and then recovering.

The classroom is also a great opportunity to talk to children about how to approach any animal, they learned about how the puppy's are more sensitive to sound than we are so they need to be very quiet, how to let the puppy approach them instead of crowding them and to always ask the owner before you touch.
