Zen is such a gentle soul, but the pain in his hooves had made him very grumpy.
Zen received a Reiki session today, to help manage a painful hoof condition. Laminitis doesn't just effect the feet, but the whole body is under stress due to compensation.
Reiki along with pain medication, massage, heat treatment, elimination of grass and sugary foods in the diet, will hopefully prevent further damage of the hooves.
