Certified in dog training and behaviour, I’m here too support you and your dog from the puppy stage through to senior and any problems in between.

I am certified in dog behaviour and training and am continuously upskilling. I love what I do and I firmly believe that as dog guardians, it is our duty to ensure our dogs lead fulfilling and enriched lives. I am not about using force, I aim to help you build a strong partnership with your dog, one where you work with them rather than against, using positive reinforcement. By analyzing your dog's behaviors, I can uncover ways to support them and you effectively.

Meet Keego 🐾

This handsome 9-month-old Samoyed has just started his training journey with us, and we’re focusing on building calm, confident behaviours out on walks 💛

Like many young dogs, Keego finds the world pretty exciting—especially other dogs! So we’re working on:
✨ Loose lead walking
✨ Choosing engagement with his humans
✨ Feeling calmer and more neutral around dogs

Our approach is always about working with the dog, not against them—helping them understand what to do, rather than correcting what not to do.

We’re so excited to watch Keego grow in confidence and make great choices out in the world 🐕

New case, new journey 🐾

Today I started working with Remi & Romeo, two adolescent Chow Chow boys, Remi is navigating some early reactivity and resource guarding behaviours.

This is actually a really important developmental stage — especially for this breed — where we often start to see changes in social behaviour.

Our focus will be on:
✔️ Calm, structured foundations
✔️ Reducing over-arousal
✔️ Building neutral responses around dogs
✔️ Creating positive associations around resources

Early intervention like this can make a huge difference long-term 👏

Loved today’s puppy class, had a couple of volunteers training a rescue puppy each and some new puppy owners who are totally in love with their new babies. We are going to have a fun four weeks together.

In case you missed it I was recently interviewed for an article on the best products for dogs and what to skip.

There are so many things marketed to dog owners these days, and it was great to talk about what actually matters for dogs — enrichment, safety, and equipment that supports good training rather than quick-fix gimmicks. Behaviour change doesn’t come from gadgets — it comes from understanding dogs and meeting their natural needs.

Have a read if you’re ever standing in the pet shop wondering what to get your dog, think about what your dog really needs and what you can skip.

✨ Training Update ✨

Over the past few weeks we’ve been doing some focused training with this brother and sister around things like marking, barking, chewing, and lead reactivity. A big part of this has been helping them learn how to feel calmer and more confident around other dogs.

Their reactions aren’t about aggression — it’s mostly over-excitement mixed with a little uncertainty — so we’ve been working on slow, positive introductions and building good experiences.

On Friday they came into with me and did some gentle meet-and-greets with smaller, calm dogs to help them practice staying relaxed, making good choices, and learning that being around other dogs doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

So proud of the progress so far 💛 Training takes time, patience, and lots of small wins — and we’re definitely seeing those wins!

🐾 Consult days with Levon 🐾

Meet Levon, a 7-year-old Fox Terrier who’s been struggling with occasional barking when left alone and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the world when things get noisy and fast.

This isn’t about “bad behaviour” — it’s about stress, big feelings, and not yet having the tools to cope.

Our focus with Levon is:
✔️ Reducing overall stress levels
✔️ Teaching calm independence at home
✔️ Helping him feel safer when left alone
✔️ Giving him jobs to do and ways to use his brain
✔️ Building focus and confidence around triggers like skateboards and scooters

By working below threshold, changing routines, using enrichment, and teaching Levon how to check in with his people when life feels a bit much, we’re setting him up for real, lasting change.

The goal isn’t perfection — it’s a calmer dog, happier walks, and a home that feels safe and predictable.

🐾 Puppy Power in Action! 🐾

Yesterday’s puppy class was all about cooperative care, enrichment and confidence-building obstacles — and wow, these pups nailed it! 💪🐶

We explored different textures, went over and under obstacles, popped our heads through things (because… why not? 🤭), and practiced calm, positive handling.

💡 Why do we do this?
✨ Build confidence – Learning to tackle new challenges helps pups feel braver in the big wide world.
✨ Boost resilience – A little “hmm, this is new…” moment followed by success teaches them they can handle change.
✨ Set them up for life – Early positive experiences make vet visits, grooming, and daily adventures so much easier.
