Hi I'm Dani short for Danielle 😁 I am your local Pet carer & Dog Walker, I offer solo walks & small pack walks, puppy checks, cat visits, rabbit feeding.🐾

😻🐶🐁🐦🐾 I had always dreamed of caring for animals and working with dogs, and have explored many aspects of dog care. I have studied Certificate in Veterinary Nursing, Animal Welfare Inves

tigations and Canine Communication as well as other certificates. I have had several years training and looking after rescue dogs, as well as working in retail and pet care at Animates. Over the last 3 years I have worked as a handler at Doggy Day Cares as well as an Assistant Trainer at Puppy Classes. One of my greatest pleasures during this time was forming relationships with the dogs I cared for and enjoys their personalities. My purpose with Dani's Paws is to give love and special care to each animal I meet in my life as well as fulfilling each dogs needs. I am a lover of many animals, I have experience with Fish, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Birds, Mice and Rats. Pack numbers are kept small so that I can meet each individual dogs needs, in a responsible and caring way. I believe dogs, in order to be the best they can be ,need positive reinforcement, fun and exercise ,structure, socialisation, and training. I guarantee your dog will come home ,happy and stimulated both mentally and physically. Friday 31st January 2025 🐾
🌞🐺 Yoda had his morning stroll down to the reserve we worked on, his recall letting his lead go. He did really well listening and coming to us when big dogs were coming along. He also left a bird sitting right next to him😍

🌞⛱️ Bolt & Ara enjoyed a pool party and some zooming around with friends. They both did really well today with listening and leaving other dogs alone. They loved having a boost around and then practicing their downs & calmness.

🌞😻 Chicken had her last visit before her parents come home from holiday. She loved pats and snuggles today still a bit fiesty, but purrs were loud today. She enjoyed the sunshine and hiding in the garden

🌞🦝 Miss Boo had a bush walk this afternoon, which was lovely in the heat 🥵 boo loved the fields and finding the ball. She listened so well and sat nicely while others shared the path. She enjoyed a dip and a rinse afterward.

Thursday 30th January 2025 🐾

🌥🐺 Yoda had his morning stroll at the reserve? We work on his recall and confidence building this morning. He did very well with his sitting & waiting. He ignored 2 bikes and did very well composing himself after a big dog ran at him.

🌥🐶🐛 Neon & Juno bug had a walk together today. It was so nice to see Juno. She did amazingly today & was very patient with Neon & I and our training. We practiced our down stays and pulling over for other people & and dogs, followed by a swim & stick crunching 🏊‍♂️ 😁

🌞 🐺🦊 Jet & Brandi had a walk together in Brandi's neighborhood today, we had a brief exploration of the beach & a dip for Jet 😆 we practiced our down stays & enjoyed a zoom around on the field.

🌞 🎀 Lexi had her walk down to the park, and we took the bush track for some shade. She lovveesss the smells down there. We worked on her recall and watching she didn't find anything naughty to eat 😋 she did so well posing today & leaving a dead fish we walked past. Clever girl 😁

Tuesday 28th January 2025 🐾

🌥 🌟 Yoda had his morning stroll down to the reserve. He listened really well & walked really nicely. He did so well climbing the tree and being polite with other 🐕

🌥🌴 Winnie & Brandi had a lovely peaceful walk today, we worked on our leash manners and our focus. We had some off leash fun with sitwalkstay & practiced our down waits. Such good 🐕🌟

🌥💜 Lexi had her neighborly walk, she enjoyed her exploring gardens and smells, she's doing so well around other dogs and not stiffening up. We worked on our down waits, and she did very well. We worked on our nice leash walking and sharing the path 😅

🌥🩷 Frida had her street walk this afternoon. It was a lovely cool afternoon with a tad bit of rain. Frida did so well listening and focusing when she needed to. She loves watching people & exploring smells and having a grass roll. She did great with her down waits and ignoring barking doggies we walked past.

Happy anniversary day everyone 🌞

Monday 27th January 2025 🐾

🫒 Miss Olive had her morning walk, we worked on her leash manners, she was very excited and wanted to run so we slowed right down & got her focused it didnt take her long to realize what was expected. We did lots of pauses with her sitting and making eye contact. She did mostly well doing a down stay. She loved fetch & a dip in the water feature 😆 she did very well ignoring other dogs and walking nicely back home 🏡

🧡 Mr Neon had a local walk we walked along the ⛱️ he listened really well & focused. He remained really calm despite two dogs racing around in close proximity to him. He did well pausing and coming into here position when needed. He had a run around at the park we practiced his giving with the ball he did mostly well 😁

🐔 😻 Miss Chicken had her visit while her parents are on holiday. We sorted her tolietries and cleaned her bowls and gave her some of her meat sachet, she was in a very playful mood, rolling around on the deck in the sun & playing with her feather 🪶 toy and hiding in the garden bushes 😆🌿

Wishing a BIG Pawesome Birthday to Winnie 🥳🎂
He is turning 5 today & had a lovely beach walk with his family 🥰

Winnie has come so far from the monkey spaniel he was as a puppy. He loved chasing birds 🐦 and following all sorts of smells through the bush and sometimes didn't want to come back 😅

I had the pleasure of getting to know him at my previous job at the daycare. Lyn, the puppy pre-school trainer, began walking him and working on his training.

Poor Lyn had a nasty injury & couldn't work for a few months & I was so grateful she asked me to take him out on walks as I was just starting my own dog walking business inspired by her. He did so well walking with Bolt, Olive, Neon, Ara & now he's a very good boy with his recall and walks with all his besties from sitwalkstay & zoomies 😍

Love you lots Winnie, we enjoy your cuddles & happy barks when we arrived to collect you for walkies. You're such a social butterfly you love people & making sure you say hello to everyone.. just sometimes, we can't say hello to everyone 😅

We are so grateful to be able to take you out on adventures for another year!

Friday 24th February 2025 🌞

🩵 Yoda had a nice morning stroll down to the reserve. He did very well walking nicely and correcting himself when i said his name. He ignored 2 bikes going past him and one dog lunging towards him. We will be working on his down 🙏

💙 Ara & Bolt had a ⛱️ walk this morning, we practiced our nice leash walking, Bolt & Ara did really well listening and ignoring dogs and other distractions. They loved having the beach to themselves. Ara enjoyed chewing sticks and finding them while bolt explored around. Such good kids today with the random down waits and nicely playing with other doggies 🐕

💜 Neon had his home training. After a few games of ball to let off some energy his focus was on point 👉 he did mostly well with his leave it command still taking some treats when he shouldn't 😆 he listened so well to stop and bring his toys to his mum even though he was very puffed. Super good boy 💙 he did well with his teeth brushing 🪥😁

🌞Thursday 23rd January 2025 🐾

🐾 Yoda had his morning stroll. He did really well walking nicely and waiting. He did so well listening & ignoring bikes and noisy traffic 😍

🐾 Neon had his walk at the local reserve, we practiced his down stay before the walk & practiced his here command when he got to aroused. His recall was excellent today. There were a few distractions, and dogs playing and bikes coming past, he did really well, staying focused and calm. We practiced his bring command & his giving he walked very nicely back 😁

🐾 Lexi had her walk at little shoal bay, she enjoyed exploring the tracks & practicing her down stays & skipping through the grass. She did great climbing up on the tree trunk and staying 👏

Wednesday 22nd January 🐾🌞

🌴🪻 Bolt, Ara & Winnie had a walk together with our friends sitwalkstay & zoomies. Everyone did really well listening & practicing their downs and waits before some play time. We had an explore through the bush and some relaxing in the shade & playing together. We practiced our nice walking back through the bush.

🎀 Milly had her neighborly stroll. She did really well with listening she did a lovely down stay in the shade and then some more sniffing and exploring on the way back

🌹🐕‍🦺 Neon had his home training today. He did really well listening & excellently bringing his toys back to his mum. We practiced his stop command & worked on his impulse control with food. He did so well with his self-control today 🙌

Tuesday 21st January 2025 🐾

We had reduced walks today due to the heavy rain & wind warnings.

🌧🌾 Yoda had a nicely peaceful walk down to the local reserve. He did great with his walking and waiting to cross the roads & doing some great sitting.

🌧🌹 Frida had her neighborly walk this morning with her adorable rain jacket 😍 she did so well focusing and listening today despite some wind & spats of rain. We walked past a few dogs, two of which were lunging towards her. She did great staying calm and listening. We practiced her downs & waiting.

🌧💐 Lexi had her neighborly walk. Luckily, the rain had eased. She enjoyed sniffing lots and exploring the bushes and flowers. We practiced her downs and waits. She listened really well & enjoyed a brief play afterward 😁

We have been busy baking some delicious birthday 🧁s for the January & February pups 🐶 😋

🫒 Miss Olive had her first walk for the year 🎉
She was very excited when i arrived 😆 she listened well and came into here position well. Her recall was great today she did well finding the ball in the grass & relaxing in the grass. Happy girl 😁

Bolt, Neon & Jet had a bush walk together, everyone did really well with waiting when we got out of the car. Bolt did really well leading the group, he did super well checking where everyone was & showing his manners. Jet & Bolt loved a wrestle on the fields while neon enjoyed pincone hunting. Everyone did really well with here command and waiting until they were released. Such good boys 💙💙

Friday 17th January 2025

🌞 🌸 Lexi had a lovely walk down to the park this morning. She loved exploring on the way down and sniffing her favorite spots. She did really well with recall at the park, there was a younger boy there with his big puppy we gave him some advice to distract his dog while lexi was exploring the leaves 🍃
She did very well with her down stay 🧡

🌺🌞 Bolt & Ara had a fun, energetic walk this morning. They both loved zooming around & wrestling, they greeted other doggies very politely. They both did so well waiting patiently on the stairs until all the dogs were gone before we headed to the 🌊. They loved a quick dip and back to exploring and racing around. We explored the other track & they enjoyed a second dip. we worked on our recall & Bolt did so well with his back command. Happy thirsty doggies 🐕

🌞🌼 Boo had her afternoon walk. we explored hobsonville Park with our friend and her pack. Boo enjoyed some solo time exploring and playing a brief bit of frisbee, we had a drink break in the shade and met our friend and walked the doggies together. Everyone did so well listening & walking nicely. We had a sit down in the shade and some cuddles before heading back for some water 💧 stunner of a day 😁🌞

Thursday 16th January 2025 🐾

🌞 Yoda had his morning stroll. He did so well listening and waiting and saying hello to bigger doggies. His sits were great today 😁

🌞 Neon had his walk around takapuna, we walked along the beach and practiced his nice walking, pausing on the steps & practicing our focus. We did some downs stays while people & dogs walked past. He had a brief swim and dived like a 🐬 😆 he did very well listening for the rest of the walk and collecting sticks

🌞 Brandi had her neighborly walk, she was alot calmer walking to the park today, she still barked a bit less & did a down straight away 😁 she met lots of doggies today she loved getting a pat from the hoomans. She is much more confident greeting bigger dogs. She loved a little paddle on the sea for some sticks. We did some scent work scatter her treats around for her to find. Happy girl 🥰

Monday 13th January 🌞🌳 🐾

💚 Yoda had his first walk for this year 🎉 he did super well listening & ignored 3 bikes and said hello to a few doggies. Beautiful morning 🌄

💙 Bolt, Neon & Jet had a walk together today, we did a walk close to bolts house. Bolt did super well leading the group and waiting by corners and listening to his back command. Jet & Neon were very excited & loved all the smells. We did some random sits and took breaks and practiced our manners. There were a few dogs on the track & at the park, the dogs did so well listening and racing around together, Jet enjoyed a dunk in the sea & Neon had a swim.

🩵 Miss Sky had her visit, She loves fetching her toys and playing tug. We practiced her manners with toys and her sits & downs. She enjoyed her lunch 😋 and a nice cuddle before an afternoon nap 😴

Happy Friday 🌞🌳

💙 Jet had his morning walk around milford. He was ready to go out the door 😆 He's such a good boy. He listens really well. We practiced his down waits briefly. It's lovely getting to know him 😍

💚 Ara & Bolt had their walk today with our friends from sitwalkstay. Everyone did so well listening, and Bolt did excellently with his waiting & back command. Ara is doing so much better walking along with the pack instead of trying to initiate play. We came across lots of doggies, and everyone was very polite & enjoyed a big chill in the shade 😁

🧡 Mr Neon had his home training, so proud of him today, he's bringing the toys back to his mum & even placed one on her foot today 😍 he did well with his leave it command & his following. He was a super tired boy after all his work 😁😅

Happy New Year 🎉 to everyone

🌿🌞 Bolt & Ara enjoyed their morning mini pack walk with our friends from sitwalkstay.
Everyone listened well. We worked on our back command and nicely sitting after the excitement of seeing our friends 🧡

🎀 Milly had her neighborly stroll. She was a bit slower probably because she could hear her sister barking from home 😆 she loved sniffing and exploring & and listening well, enjoyed treats & a cuddle after 🥰

🐕‍🦺🧡 Neon had his training at home. He's doing so well listening & paying attention to the timing of his mums commands. His impulse control with food is so much better. he's doing so much better with up & and bringing.
We are still working on his impulse control with toys and calming down his heightened arousal with them. He's such a goofball & super 🌟

Merry Monday 🌦🌴🌲🐾

Merry Christmas Eve eve 😉

☁️ Cloud had his first walk this morning, we did a local street walk getting used to each other & working on his engagement, focus, and calmness. He did great staying calm when a big dog came running past. We worked on his sitting and pausing to observe his surroundings. He did so well listening when it started to rain. He enjoyed zooming on the grass. Such a cutie 🥧 😍

🎄🎅 Bolt & Neon had their last walk together. we went into the bush today, and the boys did really well listening and waiting for runners to pass us. Neon collected pinecones & enjoyed dips in the creek. We worked on his impulse control & here commands and sitting & pausing before continuing the walk. They both enjoyed a zoom on the fields, and bolty loved the grass rolls 😆 we practiced ourdown waits before some 💧😁

🎄🛬 Jett had his first walk today. He's such a clever boy we had a local walk around Milford. He did so well walking nicely and listening. We practiced his recall & his downs and waiting. Such a good boy! 😁

😻🩵🎄 Jack Jack & No2 had their afternoon visit, no2 was waiting for cuddles, we sorted their tolieting, and it was brush & cuddle time. A chicken can to share tonight 😋
