Rats continue to suprise me every year. With the cooler mornings this week & so much food in the garden, I've increased my home baiting to weekly, I call it my early Autumn knock out! Yesterday, I witnessed a half dead one fall from above my outdoor patio area onto the deck infront of me in broad daylight. He/she had been enjoying their last meal, my grapes growing on the pagoda above.

Rats are nocturnal, if you happen to see one during the day, it's most probably eaten some bait and on it's last walk.

A dead rat is always my favorite kind 👌

JAN'S RATS part 3 Remember we met Jan a couple of weeks ago. Jan had rats inside at night, partying in the kitchen and she wanted them gone. With the support of the team at Waiheke Rodent Services, Jan has reclaimed her kitchen and there is now no evidence of rodent activity inside her home.
