Maggie Lees Working Equitation is coming back for Kings Birthday Weekend for a 2-day clinic of fun and learning. So that’s Sunday 1, Monday 2 June.
Can do in-hand, walk, trot, or "go hard" for speed training. Much to learn from Maggie Lees about the movement of your horse and this engaging sport! Thanks to Lisa Jones for her bull and other cool toys. To book now contact by PM (numbers limited with just 3 small groups). You get 4 lessons across 2 days for the mere total cost incl GST of $220, and there are 1 day and fence sitters/watchers options too. Arena fee per day is extra.$50 non refundable booking fee to secure your spot. Balance to be paid 8 days prior to start date ie 23 May 2025. Bookings filling fast!

Possibly the craziest event we've done to date...

This one should not be taken seriously at all! It's part of our Camp Weekend of fun and we are adapting some of the coolest things we see in Western Riding to accomodate our totally untrained members and horses.

Also I need a volunteer to be a running 'calf' for the roping. Cow onesie provided. You get half an arena head start. PM me!

Sadly we are cancelling our Open Day due to lack of interest. But for anyone out there interested in joining you can reach out to a member to arrange a casual ride.

Did you know… the North Shore Riding Club in our current location was originally created recognizing the local pony clubs were losing land and space to ride? The vision was a venue where the whole equestrian community was welcome and the founding purpose remains today as an affordable and safe place to enjoy equestrian pursuits.

There are grazing spaces available now. Get in touch if you are interested in herd grazing in large paddocks, bridle trails, multiple arenas, regular affordable events, guest clinicians, working equitation playground and much much more. If you have not had a chance to see this magnificent property … come see what you are missing out on.

And no, you dont need to graze in the club to be a member. ☺️

Here’s the class lists for tonight’s jumping. Will run a whiteboard order at the gate. Lots to get through so next rider will need to be in the arena while the current rider is jumping.
Jump off practice for those who go clear, you will get a bell to immediately complete a second phase short course - if wanted (totally optional but a good chance to practice a 2 phase style round.)
Course walk anytime before 6:00pm and between rounds while we reset the heights.
Warm up jumps are set up in the showgrounds adjacent the jump arena. No warm up allowed in the arena this time sorry folks, or we’ll be there all night!
For competing visitors, gates open from 5:00pm. Float and truck parking - follow the drive straight past the covered yards and dressage arenas, take the right driveway just after the dressage arena up to the float parking area.
Looking forward to a fun evening of jumping!

Ribbon Day Details! Fun classes in a relaxed atmosphere with Christmas themed fancy dress for our Turnour class.

Followed by our Club Christmas Party later that afternoon - 4pm kickoff. Bring a plate for dinner and we will also play the Present Stealing Game - bring a wrapped $10 gift to join in.

Huge thanks to Ecohorse for sorting our turnout competition prizes. We had a super morning with two classes - show turnout and natural beauty. Then everyone had a personal photo shoot with our resident photographer.
