Hi, I have a Maltese/Sh*tzu mix that I need to find a loving home. She is nearly 7months old, had her first 2 vaccines, needs a 3rd. I would prefer someone who has another dog to keep her company.

PS, she has been hacked by an amateur groomer, (owner) so she looks different now. But it will grow back🙏🤣

BEAR ❤ PLEASE SHARE ~ This big gentle bear has been abandoned and we cannot find one rea*on why!! Bear is gorgeous, it’s hard to get a good photo of him as he just wants tummy rubs and love. We are thinking he is about 4 or 5 and he is pretty well trained. He is so lovely, everyone who has met him just loves him. Bear is currently in the pound and we would love to get him out ASAP, he is a Shepherd and a real gentleman. Ideally we would like him to go straight to a home, he has already been too unsettled and he will bond too quickly to a foster. He is a bit underweight but it won't take long to get him healthy again. Please private message us if you have a stable home for Bear he is in Invercargill

Ridgeback x labrador 2.5 yrs old fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Located Wellington region.

It is with a heavy heart and with montha of deliberation that owners have decided to try and find a home for this doggo Obi. Obi wants to be someone's companion FULL TIME, dependent on circumstances this could be a pro or a con. Plus side is, never worry about him running away, door or gate open, no problem youl find him wherever you are. Down side, leave him alone and destructo dog comes out to play. Have tried crates, dog runs and until recently indoors he was fine but he has now taken to destroying his bed and can't guarantee this won't escalate further.

He is great to walk on and off lead (with some gentle encouragement if he gets excited and forgets he is on lead) has great recall can sit, lay down, shake and roll over on command. He loves all the cuddles and his happy place is anywhere he can be touching his human. He only barks to protect ie isnt reactive and doesnt bark at noises but will bark when someone knocks on the door. When he goes to work with owner he lays on his bed doesn't rush to people, doesn't jump etc.

He is overly dominant but not aggressive as such but he needs monitoring in this area and I wouldnt trust him unsupervised with dogs.
Once he gets to know them he plays well with dogs.

Previously great with kids but he has growled a couple times recently and therefore we would prefer he go to a childless home. He is untested with cats so likely suit a home without cats.

He is really a lovely dog and owners get comments on how well behaved he is but he has some behaviour problems (anxiety/dominance) that despite owners best efforts they cannot seem to manage.

Given owners both work full time they have run out of options and would love to find someone with the experience, patience , love and time this dog needs to live his best life.

He would ideally suit someone with stubborn/ridgeback experience and/or someone that can spend most of their days with him. Only an appropriate home will be considered as we know he is a bit complex and really needs an experienced owner.

We cannot help any more pups until we have more foster homes. The pup in this photo is currently in a concrete pen at the Pound, waiting for us to rescue him. Luckily we have somewhere for this guy to go, however that is not always the case, and lately we’ve had to turn so many little souls away. It absolutely destroys us.. 💔 there are so many more where this guy is coming from…

We depend on our foster homes for our entire operation. We get so many comments on how well natured, well adjusted and confident our adopted puppies are- this is because they have time to decompress and rehabilitate in a home environment instead of a cage!

We don’t yet have a shelter, so if we don’t have the foster homes, we can’t help- it’s that simple.

Our foster families have so many great things to say about their experience:
- It helped them to find their own new family pet
- It taught their children about responsibility and empathy
- It was great socialisation for their own pets
- The feeling when you see a pup you’ve saved go to it’s new family, and be loved unconditionally IS the greatest feeling in the whole world

We have a whole team of dedicated coordinators ready to support you through the entire process, and a community of like minded people you can join! We provide food, cover every cost, and can even give you a crate/bedding.

Right now we are DESPERATE for fosters particularly in the Bay of Plenty area- this includes Whakatane, Kawerau, Opotiki, Rotorua, Tauranga.

We also need fosters in the Manawatu, Wellington, Waikato & Auckland.

Bakit importante ang puppy socialization .. Para maiwasan ang pagiging agresibo ng mga a*o pag laki. Dapat hanggang maaga pa masanay na sila sa bata or ibang Tao at ibat ibang uri hayop.pati ibat ibang klaseng bagay or structure at mga tunog Para hindi maging matatakutin ang mga puppy natin at maging confident at masayahin sila pag laki..Pati sa paliligo blower at toothbrush... ito po ibang pang halimbawa listahan.
