❤️ THANK YOU!!! 🐀🐇🦜

I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who came to support us at this year's Auckland Pet Expo! From our amazing volunteers, to the boys on tech support and managing the store, to our special guests from Pet Doctors St Luke's, to our amazing photographer, to our guest artist who brought our pets to life, to my mom who sewed up a storm, and to those friends from a far who supported kind words and helped out with ideas and posters. YOU GUYS ARE THE BOMB ❤️❤️

It was so incredibly to see past adopters (even some from my first ever litter!), but always meet amazing new people throughout the Exotics community.

We will be spending a day or two recover (especially with our spinal injury) and unpack before we update our website with new products (Like our Pea Flakes that sold out!) and send out current orders.

Yet again, thank you to all for a fantastic weekend and we can't wait to see everyone again next year! 🩷

First day of the Auckland Pet Expo 2025 was a success! I don't think it has ever been this busy before, but very thankful for all the people volunteering to show how awesome rats are to the world! Everyone seemed to really the cuddle corner - a quieter place for people to just sit and spend time with the rats.

The boys running the stall will also do some special expo discounts for you (including our not released on website yet items). All you need to do is go up to them and say "Do you have the beans" and they will give you an extra special deal!

Additionally, we saw some beautiful pawtraits from Tami does Tattoo today - Don't forget to come and visit her as she may have some free goodies to give away as well 😉

We will also have the lovely Dr Linda Yang from Pet Doctors who is our newly qualified unusual pets advanced practitioner to have a chat with. We also have some amazing and highly educated volunteers tomorrow so ask them all your questions!

We will see you all tomorrow! ❤️🩷

✨ The A Rat’s Tail Mischief & the humansns have been busy this weekend! ✨

We’ve been sewing up a storm — creating tons of hammocks, snuggle sacks, our brand new Hop & Flops, and even more enrichment goodies (not all pictured 👀).

Our ratties can’t wait to share these with you at the Auckland Pet Expo 2025 ! 🐭💜

🐭 Meet The Rats 🐭

Over the next week, we’ll be introducing some of the wonderful rats who will be joining us at the Auckland Pet Expo 2025 ! Each one has their own little story, and we can’t wait for you to meet them. 💕

✨ Today’s star is Avis ✨
Avis is a gorgeous, fluffy dove girl with the sweetest personality. She was born with us, found her way into an adoptive home, and has since made her way back into our care. Now, she’s ready to share her cuddles with everyone!

If you’re coming along to the expo, be sure to stop by and say hello—Avis will be waiting for some snuggles. 🥰
