@kobe_thesiberianhuskypup demonstrating one of the uses of the fake grass at the skate park 🤭🛹
Dexter on the way to the park. I don't know about you but I find this completely adorable 🥹🥲☺️😍💔
Ollie, 3 yr old mixed breed, maybe some Shepherd and Greyhound in there??🤔...my guess!😁..doing some playground tricks to build confidence, concentrate while distractions are all around, and for brain work because he's a busy, smart boy. His mum adopted him when he was half his age and he came from a background of no real socialisation or training. She has been working with @kiwivetbehaviour to help Ollie with reacting to triggers including scooters, the mail buggy, certain dogs, and to help him with polite greetings and interactions with people.
On his walks I try to let him do doggy things if it's safe to do so: sniffing, exploring, running, a little water play. If his doggy needs are met hopefully his triggers won't spark such a reaction. We also practise some skills like walking "with me", crossing roads, looking at and away from triggers- when possible!, and being reasonably calm when I arrive- a work in progress!😅
Ollie is a very good boy and his doing great👏👏👏
Just some cuteness..😍 Cambridge🐻❄️ and Hemsworth🦊 choosing to sit right next to each other even though they had the space of a whole sports field! Hemsworth knows lots of tricks and loves an opportunity to perform them. Cambridge knows a few that I have taught her and is starting to offer behaviours when she thinks we are doing tricks☺️
Kobe and Burma 🐘 watching each other from the Western Springs back of the elephant enclosure. When Kobe gave a little woof I thought we should leave in case we were worrying Burma. Luckily Kobe is used to disengaging from triggers and changing direction quickly when needed so we had no problem moving on☺️
