Poodle babies incoming 🥰🥰🥰

We are excited to be preparing for Poodle babies in the coming months.

We expect a litter of all white babies from the beautiful, Luca, ‘NZ & Aust Ch Smart Connection Way Too Much - Imp RUS’ and the household queen (and litter sister to Wolf and Stella), Sassy, ‘NZ Ch Tai Yuan I Love The Night Life’.

With the crazy month we’ve had, I completely forgot about poor Luca!

We were extremely pleased that in early December he achieved the final few points for his New Zealand Champion title.

He has been very selectively shown (because there are only so many poodles you can show at one time) but he has had an incredible run in those few shows he’s done, only being defeated for the CC on only one occasion since he hit the ring here in NZ.

Stacy Donaldson-Rogers, Amy Bray and I are super greatful to Sarah Elliot for her expert handling of Luca to collect that last CC, Best of Breed and Group short list at the Hutt Valley KA shows last month.

We can now officially call him NZ & Aust Ch Smart Connection Way Too Much - Imp RUS.

We are home and recovered from a successful week of shows.

Ms Stella was the star of the show collecting 3x Runner Up Best In Group wins
2x Best In Group wins
1x All Breeds Best In Show (her 4th since June)

The Puggies picked up Ccs, Best of Breed and Group wins along the way.

We are now preparing for our final few laps around the ring for the year with the Dog and Puppy of the Year contest and two Poodle specialty shows this coming weekend.

Exciting news!

Tai Yuan are very lucky to have been able to enjoy a small involvement in exciting Saint Bernard litter produced by one of our close friends using a combination of Tai Yuan breeding and imported lines.

We have had many messages in recent years asking when we would be breeding again so if you are still looking for a new addition to your family please PM and we can put you in touch with the breeder.

Miss Pickes picking up her third and fourth consecutive Baby In Group awards (she now has 4 Baby in Groups and 2 Baby In Shows) and Roro collecting another Best in Group.

The judges were Australian breed specialists Ben Luxton and Jenny Whitney.
