Rothesay Bay Vet Clinic COVID-19 update - We are back into Alert Level 3:
We are open as an essential service for your pets healthcare needs!
We are working in a way that ensures the health and safety of our clients and team members.
Please phone to make an appointment prior to bringing your pet in for veterinary care.

Animal Consult Appointment Protocols:
We will speak to you by phone to gather all the necessary details, and discuss diagnostic and treatment options via phone just as we would during a normal consultation.
When we need to observe the animal patient in person:
• Please wait in your car (or the carpark).
• Phone the clinic on 09 479 7282 wave or toot your horn to let us know that you have arrived.
• A staff member will then come out to you for handing over your animal in appropriate PPE whilst maintaining the required 2m distance
Please rest assured we are available for:
• Medical and emergency appointments.
• Routine surgery
• Healthchecks and Vaccinations
• Prescription collections.
• Food and parasite treatment collections.
Please also follow the below Clinic Protocols:
• Phone in advance to order any food or parasite treatment.
• Phone in advance for any prescriptions.
• We will send you the account to pay online, once we receive payment we will phone you to arrange a time to collect. We will be unable to accept cash payment until further notice
• There will be an outdoor collection point arranged for you.
All dogs must be on a lead.
All cats/small animals/birds must be in a suitable enclosed cage/carrier for handover.
