6pm Friday through to 8am Monday Manukau After Hours Veterinary Clinic opened in 1996.

We are a team of dedicated Veterinarians and Veterinary Nurses qualified to provide the highest level of after hours emergency service for your pets. Our clinic is open from 6pm weekdays until 8am the following morning. On weekends we are open from midday Saturday right through until 8am Monday morning. Our services are designed to provide care as first line support during holidays and after hours

when your regular day-time clinic is closed

Manukau After Hours Veterinary Clinic is a full service animal emergency clinic and will take both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical and surgical issues (Although we do not do routine work e.g. Vaccinations, micro chipping, spey, neuters).Our veterinarians are experienced in all types of conditions and treatments. In addition we provide care to day time clinics that send us overnight monitoring cases for their critical and post-operative patients. All pets receive constant observation and veterinary care through out the night. Our team includes at least one emergency veterinarian and one veterinary nurse every night to tend to your pets needs and requirements

Saturday mornings are a great time for some on site training. Our senior Veterinarian Ben Wilson organised some training on our endoscopy machine.
Endoscopy is a great minimally invasive tool that can help our vets remove foreign bodies.
Using a cadaver (with a huge amount of respect) our vets were able to practice retrieving a sock from the stomach.
Massive thanks to Dr Jon Liu for sharing his knowledge with us to help us continue to be able to provide incredible patient care.

🚩Karaka Trees are common and often found in parks and backyards. They have glossy green leaves and olive shaped berries which ripen from green to orange then drop to the ground. ⚠️ Because they smell sweet, dogs will often eat them.
📞Call you vet straight away if your pet eats any part of the berry.
