First jump back after winter off for Trixie girl ✌️ this pony is a jumping star ⭐️ schooled to 1m, competed with wins to 90cm, represented her district at pre training ODE and schooling training cross country fences!

Trixie is a fabulous pony to have around. Easy to handle and do everything with, and has the sweetest nature - zero dirt.

She has done a bit of everything; Pony Club - gained C certificate, ribbon days, ODE - intro and pre training with placings; was part of the West Auckland district team. Show jumping up to 95 with wins, winner of a Woodhill Winter series.

Competed in the Auckland regional teams for mounted games. Won the Northland individual games title last season and placed second in the Auckland opens last season.

Fabulous to hack out alone and in company, not spooky, very safe! Extensively hacked at the beach forest and over farm land. Doesn’t get silly if other horses do.

Great to take out, is the same at home as she is in new places.

Suited as a second pony as she is forward moving (although not hot or strong - snaffle mouth) and prefers a rider with kind, independent hands.

Has just come back into work after a winter break and has been a dream to bring back into work after time off.

Genuine reason for sale, rider outgrown and has made the New Zealand team for other sports so time for riding is limited.

Massive thank you to our favourite coach and Osteo Freya Scollay at Symmetry in Motion Equine for coming out today! I had a fabulous lesson with Ally, and Penny enjoyed her treatment - falling asleep and fully relaxing while Freya worked on her sore shoulder! Thanks again Freya - from me and the girls ! 🧡

Check out this handsome boy!
I have been working with this gorgeous young warmblood, and his owner, for the past 3 weeks and I’m absolutely loving being part of their journey!

I am doing some ridden schooling with him, alongside coaching his owner on him - to help them establish a stronger partnership and understanding of each other. Such a lovely horse, and open minded committed owner - it’s an absolute pleasure to be part of this team, and seeing some fabulous improvements in just 3 weeks!

Darling Stevie has found her new family, and what a lovely new family they are! She is going to be so loved and have such fun in her new home!
Thank you to Megan, Lyla and Phoebe for trusting me with the care and sale process of your special girl. And a big thank you to young rider Bailey at HopkinsEquine for being Stevie’s rider while she has been here, and showing her off today for the family who came to trial! And another big thank you to Zoe for also helping with riding Stevie at trials!

With the weather now becoming much better we are looking at bringing back JUMP CLUB!

Who is interested??

What is jump club?
A group lesson type training clinic focused on building confidence and skills within show jumping!

All levels catered for - starting at cross bar!
Small groups of 4-5 riders
Lessons are 1 hour per class

$30 per rider (this includes arena fee)

Located at our property in Kumeu
Dates TBC but will be held on Saturdays

Stevie “Glenwood Astrea”
Rising 15, 12.2hh English Riding Pony mare.

Stevie is the ultimate kids pony, and mothers dream!
Done pony club, hacking - beach, forest, farm, ribbon days, camps, low level jumping.

Loves the little people and really looks after them - has taken two sisters from lead rein through to first ridden - cantering and small jumps. The youngest sister started on Stevie when she was 4 yrs old.

Super safe - as a 4 yr old the youngest sister was able to lead, groom and pick out feet! No dirt. No vices.

Best suited to lead rein, and for riders transitioning on to first ridden as this is her specialty! Happiest jumping up to 55cm.

More whoa than go, but is beautifully responsive to the aids - doesn’t require lots of kicking to get her going! Voice commands on the lunge. Adjusts to her rider and looks after her little people! A real confidence builder!

Easy to handle, take out, and do everything with - great to float (kids can load her) for farrier (barefoot), dentist (teeth done January 2023), clip, worm etc. Very relaxed wee girl.

Paddocks alone, or with company - however we would love for her to have buddies in her new home. Never needed the vet, never had laminitis or any other health issues. Just requires general pony weight management.

Stevie is a very special pony and this is an incredibly hard sale of a much loved family member! But the girls are on to the next step and have new ponies now so it’s time for Stevie to show another wee rider the ropes!

Comes with bridle, pony saddle, saddle blanket, and all her covers.
