About the Course:
Freya Scollay of Symmetry In Motion and Holly Anne Stewart of First Impressions Equine are excited to present this foundational course tailored specifically for junior riders. Designed to support young equestrians in maintaining and enhancing their horses’ physical well-being, this program helps improve performance, prevent injuries, and foster a deeper horse-rider bond.
Spread over three sessions, participants will learn:
• Hands-on soft tissue techniques
• Stretching and mobilisation exercises
• In-hand groundwork
• Basic equine anatomy
• How to assess a horse for potential issues
Each participant will work with their own horse during the practical sessions, allowing both rider and horse to benefit from this experience. Don’t have a horse? No problem — we have a limited number of suitable horses available. Please contact us in advance to arrange this.
Note for Adults:
This course is specifically for juniors. However, adult-focused courses are coming soon!
Parents who wish to attend alongside their child may do so for an additional $100.
