Your pet may require one visit daily or perhaps two. We follow your pet care routine as closely as possible. This of course, includes feeding,
watering and exercising and we also spend ‘quality time’ with your pet, just playing, petting and grooming so your pet receives loving attention even while you’re away. As an added bonus, we keep an eye on your home by bringing in your mail and newspaper, alternating lights, opening and closing curtains and blinds, watering plants - activities that give your home that lived-in look. We provide you with a Daily Report Card for your pet. During each visit we will fill out the report card to let you know how your pet was and what games we played! We want to care for and nurture your pets, not just feed them and leave. We set up an initial consultation with you and your pet prior to your departure. At that time we find out everything we need to know to provide you with peace of mind that your pet and home are in safe hands while you’re away. There is no minimum requirement. We will take care of your pet for one day or several weeks - whatever you need! We have full public liability insurance and we take our business seriously. Pet Company was formed because of our genuine love for animals and our own experiences with finding the right care for our beloved pets during times away from home.

To keep your pets safe at Christmas, below is a list of some of the more common festive foods to be aware of:
Mince pies 🥧
Contain grapes, raisins, currants and sultanas which are toxic to dogs. If you feel like your dog might be missing out on a Christmas mince pie you could make your own using their own dog food.
Chocolate 🍫
A delicious treat for humans but not so much for cats and dogs.
Cheese 🧀
Cheese boards tend to invite the more exotic cheeses into the house at Christmas. These can cause damage, especially blue cheese which produces toxins that cause rapid onset convulsions in dogs.
Turkey bone 🦴
We might think giving a dog a bone is a nice gesture, especially as they are refused all the delicious dishes coming from the kitchen. However avoid giving Turkey bone as it can be harmful.
Alcohol 🍹
Cats and dogs may help themselves to any unattended alcohol which can lead to illness. Keep alcoholic drinks and food that contains alcohol in a safe place is advised.
