Sadly, we have a second goodbye in less than a week. This time we say farewell and bon voyage to Dr Eva Liao. Eva's last day will be Tuesday 24th December. Eva joined us last year and has been a very well-liked and valued staff member during her time with us. Eva is a very kind and caring vet, who is very committed to providing the best care for her clients and their pets. She will be missed.

Eva is off to the unusual destination of Ivory Coast in West Africa with her partner and their beloved cat. We wish you all the best for the future and we hope to see her again one day.

Sadly, this week we have to say goodbye to one of our wonderful vets, Dr Anna Jolly. Anna is off on an open-ended trip to sail the Mediterranean with her husband. Her last day of work will be this Friday 20th December.

Anna joined us back in 2020. In the time she has been working with us, Anna has been a very hard working, dedicated and committed vet, who has always gone the extra mile to look after her clients and pet patients.

Anna will be missed by us all. We wish her all the best for her exciting next chapter, and we hope to see her back again one day.

Bon voyage and good luck!

This handsome came to the Bucklands Beach Vets a few weeks ago because he ate something that got stuck in his intestine! Now he’s not the only one, we have had a lot of cases in these past few weeks of eating socks, toys, medications, rat bait, toxic foods and poisonous plants such as Lillies and cherry blossoms. So this is your friendly reminder to double check what’s around the house that’s either toxic/poisonous or too small to be left out that dogs or cats may strangely find delicious!

We appreciate all the support and referrals we receive from our associates, and professionals in the animal training and vet care industry. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

In April, we ran a competition within Vet Clinics, and the clinic who made the most successful referrals to Kiwi Vet Behaviour won a prize.

The winner chose between a Pizza Party, or a Mentor Session. Congratulations to our friends at Bucklands Beach Veterinary Clinic for taking out the prize with 12 referrals over a 3-week period. Dr Jess Beer popped in today to deliver pizza to the team.
