We are so loving doing schoolmaster lessons with the two golden boys Totara and Magic. Their wisdom is beyond their years and their kindness and talent is so loved by so many!

Another awesome week up here with the horses. The three competition horses are feeling amazing!

All the client horses are looking and feeling great and lessons have been so positive and sharing the joy of the horses is such a rewarding way to spend time working in the sun. With a team of 9 in work at the moment it takes an army! Bring on next week!

Fibre Fresh Grand Prix Jumping at Woodhill Sands

Took Glenara Gold Dust (Loki) out in Main Ring on the grass! So lucky to be jumping out there with him. Jumped around our biggest tracks to date with a lot of boxes ticked and some awesome jumps along the way.

So greatful for everything in this journey with this horse. Thank you to everyone who is supporting me on this adventure. Ben, Katharine, Amy, Kerry, Freya, my Willow Farm family. It takes such an army!

Woodhill Sands Fiber Fresh Spring Grand Prix Show - First show of the season with my new team.

Everything Equine Maid of Steel - 4 clear rounds 3 placings with a 2nd and stepped up to her first 1.05m! Faultless show!

Glenara Gold Dust - Crusied to 4th in our first 1.10m and did a cool 1.15m.

So greatful to have these incredible horses jumping so well for me. So greatful for all my equine family backing me at the shows. It takes an army and I’m so filled with love at the support from you all coming out to the show 💜 Kerry, Mandy , Shelley, Molly, Katharine, Irene, Sar and course my No1 groom and now fiancé Ben Bradshaw.

Winter training feels so incredible on days like this! Horses feeling wonderful, relaxed and happy. Even gave my jump saddle its first oil before our first show of the season coming up!

Awesome jump training with the boys this morning in the rain under the watchful eye of our amazing coach Kerry Patterson.

The horses are shaping up and our team is coming together so ready for the 24/25 season.

Schoolmaster Appreciation Post - Everything Equine Totara 🐴

After a super successful career as a show jumping horse with wins and placing up to 1.25m with highlights of winning classes at Takapoto Estate, Taupo National Equestrian Center and National Amateur Rider Series classes he has retired from the show ring to share the love of jumping with riding lessons.

His nature and attitude is irreplaceable and he is so loved by so many people. Such a special horse.

A shout-out post to to my awesome incredible schoolmaster horse Magic!

These pics were taken in around 2013 when myself and Magic were at pony club together.

So lucky to have him back with me to share the joy of riding with the next generation of riders with his schoolmaster lessons. and to have him in my care for his retirement. Magic will be 23 this year and he’s such a happy and healthy horse which is so important to me. He likes to take it a little easier now with his work, but is loving his life bringing smiles to so many people each week. 🖤
