For all you inquisitive folks asking about updates, here's team Charlie and Eddie with the latest.
They've been working tirelessly behind the scenes to boost Charlie's confidence and appetite, change his keep away tactics and get a reliable recall - all in the midst of a distracting world.
Love how he's learning to sidestep distractions like a seasoned pro, just like his clever Mum - once he's nailed something, it's a fait accompli. Delighted with his progress.
Huge thanks to Ed and Family for nurturing this gifted young dog.

I'm beaming with pride over (Kirkwell Kōkōtea) Echo's weekend antics. She was a tad uncertain about the environment, but she powered through like a total pro.
We haven't even touched on these skills yet, and our tunnel and wing work is still a work in progress. But hey, she loved every minute of it and was keen and happy, which is all that really matters. When things got tough, we switched to some fun, familiar work.
Those Hoopers behind her were a major distraction, but what a fantastic intro to the high-energy environment we throw our dogs into.
The instructor was super positive and adapted on the fly, giving us awesome feedback. As we approach the last fear period of adolescence, I'll be using this environmental info to guide our work. 🙂 Hope you all had a blast with your pups this weekend ❤️

Today's Scent trial saw Miss Stevie and Mr Sue excel, with Sue's first-time participation being a resounding success.

Their efforts were recognized as they both received awards.
Notably, **Kirkwell Korimako* (Stevie) JD,AD,SN,NCS,NIS,NES,NVS
was the overall highest qualifier in Advanced Container plus advanced Container & Vehicle searches.

**Kirkwell Mohau** (A boy Named Sue) made a strong impression in Novice Container B and Novice Interior.

Hawkes Bay was an exciting weekend for the Kirkwell crew.
This time Miss Stevie and Wayne what a team they are becoming.
Beautiful run in Starters gaining a 2nd place.
Novice she did amazingly and her contacts were spot on.. again getting a respectable 2nd place. 🥈🥈
