On the hunt for the perfect pony on behalf!

This little lady is looking for a school master type, around the 13.2 mark (ponies around this size would be looked at too if they fit the other requirements).

Ideally for pony club, ribbon days, hacking etc.

Soph has suffered from cancer in the past and still suffers occasional seizures as a result, therefore, finding a safe pony is paramount.

In saying that she is a lovely, extremely brave rider and the home is 5*+, any pony would be lucky to fall into this families hands.

I've been a bit slack on my updates! But pictured here is Ace, a beautiful ex 2* eventer here to be sold. This was his first ride after having a year off (just due to rider overcommitment), no lunging, no drama.

Sometimes you meet horses that literally capture your heart, Ace is that for me. I adore him and his nature!

Pony pals at the beach today! Mini Bob soon taught us he wasn’t to be trusted and i'm sure took off thinking what idiots we were to think otherwise.. lucky with his large belly he tires easily 🤣🤣

SOLD!!

Tori has sold to the best home post a clear vetting, in record time of under a week after being listed. We didn't even get to list her on Trademe or Ispy!

We've had so much interest in her and honestly it was well deserved. One of the most honest, trainable pony or horse i've had the pleasure of sitting on.

We apologise to those who missed out, hopefully your new unicorn is just around the corner :).

We couldn't be prouder of the amazing Keira for winning champion on the weekend. At only 9 years old she has to be one of the most committed little riders i've had the pleasure of knowing and so deserved this after all her hard work with this pony behind the scenes over the past season!!

Her treat from us? To ride Penga, the pony she's been eyeing up for the past few years to ride, but hasn't been able to due to her not being broken in!

One happy lady, family and us!

Tori passed the "lead your 2 year old and go for a forest hack" test today. The best part was, when said 2 year old decides to poke her in the flanks mid walk - she handled it like a champ and didn't bat an eyelid. 10/10 for Tori!

She has viewings booked in for next week already, so if you're on the fence or wanting to look please get in touch asap as my prediction is she won't last long....

A mother’s dream!!

Have you been looking for the most reliable, quiet and safe full size pony for either yourself (small adult) or your child? Look no further then the beautiful Tori, 15 YO, schoolmistress.

We’ve had Tori here to sell on behalf and during this time we fall more and more in love with Tori everyday. She’s unflappable, safe and most of all trainable. She’s a been there done that sort of pony who with her previous young rider, a complete beginner, took her 65cm through to 90cm in just 9 months. Before that, she was a great little show hunter, has done show hunter at Horse of the Year (placed 3rd in a title class), show jumped to 1m, schooled to 1.10 and has plenty of competition mileage.

We’ve tried her with young riders (as young as 2) to a 5 year old, 9 year old and 12 year old and with every rider she just adjusts to their level and what they are capable of.

Equally, I’ve been schooling her and she is trying extremely hard at that harder level and giving some beautiful work.

Ponies like this are so hard to find and I can honestly say she’s been an absolute pleasure, we will be so sad to see her go - as will the owners.

Ohhh hey there... Tori has just arrived tonight to be sold on behalf in the next few weeks once she’s had some work.

Complete schoolmaster I’ve been told that loves jumping... these are hard to find! ❤️❤️❤️

Transformational Tuesday! This lovely boy came to us as a full-time livery horse after our client had just purchased him (top photo). The bottom photo was taken the other day and we thrilled with the results and the difference in his neck! ❤️

Blair Equestrian pride themselves on providing a top class service with horse care being paramount.

Jess Blair completed a Bachelor of Agriscience with a major in Equine at Massey University and has many years experience working within the horse industry (predominantly Thoroughbreds) both here and in Australia. This has allowed her to be confident in handling all horses and have a passion for the handling of young green horses.

She is also a keen eventer and currently has two young horses at home. BeQ Astro is a 6 year old pinto currently competing at pre novice and BeQ Anonymous is a 5 year old thoroughbred that has just been started and is is aiming to compete in beyond the barriers 2019.
