Tuesday group. Working on impulse control between their fun time. All dogs get training with me while out walking which helps them mentally tire out as well as physically. Also helps their dogs learn expectations in all situations. ☺️

I honestly can’t stress this enough. In the last 24hours I have had 4 dogs rush up to clients dogs and my personal dogs who have been on lead doing training. I work with very sensitive dogs which owners pay a lot of money into getting help as well as the amount of time themselves and I invest into helping those dogs feel safe and comfortable in public. Every time someone’s dog gets into a dogs face it sets the dogs confidence and training back more and more with the risk of making a dog an aggressive dog. Regardless of breed and temperament your dog might have, it doesn’t matter to me a “friendly” dog in a sensitive dogs face is just as harmful as any dog in their face/bubble. I will be looking into now getting a body camera for when I’m out with dogs not only to protect the dogs I’m handling if something was to happen but also as evidence a simple law/rule isn’t being followed by the other owners.
