Edit: so Eloise is actually a boy not a girl for anyone potentially interested 🤦‍♀️🤣

Eloise and Curly are off to be desexed/microchipped and have their first vaccination on Tuesday. They will then be looking for their forever homes. They are both super affectionate and over the top sociable with all the other residents (small and large dogs alike) and love our half grown cats. They're extra special kittens and whoever adopts them will be very lucky ❤️

The handsome little "Lockie" came in for a tidy up today. I enjoy the range of different breeds I get to meet and groom. Lockie is a cairn terrier and has a absolutely beautiful nature ❤️

Small dogs mini groom (face/bum/feet/nails/bath and blow dry) $45
Small dogs short hair (bath/blow dry/nails) $35

Duke and Quill hogging the heat pump...even though the temperatures dropped its still good to keep up on the regular grooming appointments, even just a tidy up of face/bum/nails and bath and blow dry to ensure no uncomfortable tangles appear 🐕

Pinky and Penny were desexed, microchipped and had there first vaccination yesterday and now officially looking for their furever homes. Penny is an outgoing girl who's into everything and Pinky is more quiet and will sit for a cuddle and purr. There's a $200 adoption fee for each. Send me a message if you'd like to meet either 🥰

"Pinky" and "Penny" are looking for their forever homes. Both approximately 8 weeks old and although look similar aren't sisters. "Pinky" came to us a week ago parasite burden and malnourished but has flourished this past week and loving pet life. Her wee friend "Penny" has been in foster care since around 3 weeks of age after hitching a ride in a car motor and having to be rescued from it, she's extremely outgoing and not scared of much. Both are available on the foster to adopt scheme via Waiuku Cat Colony Rescue.

"Frost" is the lucky last boy left. He's available to an amazing home on the foster to adopt scheme via Waiuku Cat Rescue Colony. "Frost" has been bottle fed from just a few days old and is extremely friendly and outgoing, loves cuddles as well as chasing his toys and playing with the other furry family members here. He'll make an amazing addition to any family.

His adoption fee is $200 and it covers desexing/microchipping and 1st vaccination.

Some of you will know I foster kittens for Waiuku Cat Colony Rescue and I currently have these wee guys who are tentatively looking for their new home.

"Frost" and "Snow" have done so well and are now kinda big kids who could go off to their forever homes with the foster to adopt scheme the rescue sometimes offers. They are super friendly and cuddly and act more like puppies than kittens since they've been hand raised by us. Obviously 100% kid and dog proof ❤ If anyone is interested in extending their family let me know.

Small/medium dogs only and happy just giving them a winter tidy up (face/bum/feet/nails & bath and blow dry)

Quill, Duke & Impy sporting their winter pjs as I like to keep them short over winter as when they get wet and muddy they dry much quicker 😊

Our Story

Happy Tails is a small dog grooming business running from Waiuku township. I have had years of experience working with dogs of all different shapes and sizes and pride myself in them enjoying the experience as much as possible.

I obtained the NZ Dog Grooming School Grooming Certification GRADE TWO on the 1 October 2014 Nothing gives me as much satisfaction as getting in a scruffy dirty dog and turning them into a must cuddle sweet smelling pooch! Prices: Small Dogs full groom start from $55.00 (bath, blow dry, clip and style and nails)

Medium Dogs full groom start from $65.00 (bath, blow dry, clip and style and nails)

Large Dogs full groom start from $75.00 (bath, blow dry, clip and style and nails)
