Wow, what a season! I haven’t had the opportunity to post much this past season as it has been super busy, the busiest year for me so far. Over the course of the season I have been asked to make some very different items from my usual standard garlands and I have loved the challenge. I have included some photos of these below.
I want to thank the many individuals, clubs and associations for your continued support it has meant a lot to me especially with the ever increasing number of people who decide to take up making garlands as a side hustle. As my full time employment I work long hours if required to make sure orders are completed in plenty of time for customers. I take my job very seriously to produce the very best garlands for my customer. I will never say I can’t do an order.
If you have an upcoming event and would like a quote I am more than happy to do one for you. Remember, I can also organise rosettes to go on your garlands (need a minimum of four weeks for rosettes).

There has been a bit of Christmas fever at Supreme Horse Garlands this week. Garlands, wreaths and other Christmas themes for some of our customers. It’s been a very busy beginning to the season so much so that I haven’t had the time to do photos and posts of the many many garlands we have been making. A reminder to our customers that we will be working all through Christmas and New Year so if there is anything you require just give us a call as we will always accommodate.

I have made up these sweet baskets and hand held posies That would be ideal for in hand best presented/turnout classes. They would also make nice judge’s gifts. I have a limited number available so PM me to secure. $35 each plus postage.

Has been a busy start to the season and I have had some special requests which I have enjoyed creating. My favourite was this garland for a customer who wanted to display her trophy on a wine barrel. Such a lovely idea and it looks super.

These garlands are now SOLD. I have these two garlands which the kids will just love. One is a butterfly garland which has a number of butterflies among the flowers. The other is a teddy bear garland which has a small teddy in amongst the flowers. Both garlands are a small pony size so will fit up to a 12.2hh pony.

As associations and clubs are now beginning to organise and hold their AGM it is also the perfect time to consider grant applications for next season.
As a registered business Supreme Horse Garlands NZ can supply your association/club with a quote for grant/funding applications.
We are always happy to discuss your club’s requirements and try to help with suggestions for garlands etc. that fit your budget.

The Pony Scurry Series is well under way. With kids from all over NZ taking part. This was very well supported last season and is proving to be the same this year. The next set of heats will be held on the 11th May at New Plymouth and then the following weekend at Te Rapa. Worth heading along to have a look.

On ANZAC the purple poppy is often worn to remember animals that have been victims of war. Animals like horses, dogs and pigeons were often drafted into the war effort, and those that wear the purple poppy feel their service should be seen as equal to that of human service.
These garlands have been made with this in mind and will be worn by horses at a dawn parade on ANZAC day.
