We Listen: We take the time to listen and discuss your requirements to ensure you get the groom you want and that lasts while requiring minimal maintenance between grooms. Stress Free: Many grooming salons can be very stressful for your dog. We avoid this by booking one dog at a time and returning them to you in the shortest time possible. This makes for a happier relaxed dog. Gentle Products: We use Fidos Soap Free Hypo-Allegenic shampoo which leaves your dog clean and smelling of a pleasant fragrance without drying the skin. For the control of fleas and ticks we use Fidos Flea Rinse which contains natural pyrethrin - additional charge of only $5.

We have grooming solutions that will help keep your dog cooler and help it cope better with the hot weather. This will help them with the heat, avoid hotspots, and keep the skin healthy.

We can give coated breeds such as Poodles, Sh*tzus, and Schnauzers a short summer clip.

For double-coated breeds such as Retrievers, Shepherds, Huskies, and Spitz breeds, we can do a deshed. This involves removing as much of the undercoat as possible for better airflow. It will also have the added bonus of less fur around the home.

IS YOUR DOG SHEDDING COAT EVERYWHERE?

The weather is hot and double-coated dogs like Huskies, Retrievers, Shepherds, Spitz Breeds, Collies, etc. are shedding undercoat like crazy.
This is a sign that your dog's coat is blown. This means they are trying to release their winter undercoat. Having your dog deshedded is essential to their health.
Having your dog deshedded has numerous benefits such as
- helps to keep them cooler and better able to regulate their body temperature.
- makes them more comfortable and keeps their coat and skin healthy.
- avoids matting which is caused by the undercoat trying to come out.
- helps prevent hot spots and skin allergies by allowing the skin to breathe and drawing out natural oils released by a dog’s skin and fur.
- makes your dog smell less as a lot of odor comes from the dead undercoat.
As an added bonus there will be a lot less fur all through your home. Unfortunately, it is not possible to completely stop shedding but the volume of fur can be significantly reduced.
