Hello fans of James. I thought you'd like to know that James is still kicking. She'll turn 18 on 1st September, and she now mostly loves sleeping in a sunny spot. She only ventures outside to drink out of a pot plant, because apparently that water tastes better. She meows loudly a few times whenever she settles down for a nap, maybe she's letting us know what she's doing? We haven't figured that one out. With one front paw missing, she now has a bit of trouble jumping down from the bed (and sometimes faceplants), but she still insists on getting up there and someone isn't always around to help her down when she wants to get off. She's definitely in her twilight years but is, as ever, a happy, purry, snuggly, fur friend who would much rather be held than not. She now lives with my grandparents (as I am normally in Germany and I don't think she'd take the travel very well). An extended stay thanks to Covid19 has allowed me to reconnect with her and we are still the soulmates that we ever were. Hope you are all well, purrs and smooches from Jim Jam.
