Lil Luka Dog Walks was founded in 2014 by Billy, whose dream was to follow her passion and love of dogs in business. Lil Luka Dog Walks is my very own start up business (Named after my best old dog Luka, Lou Lou) providing walks & comfort to dogs when owners are working, away for long periods or have an injury or illness & are unable to walk there beloved pet. We walk dogs individually or in small

groups (4 dogs maximum) from their property or pick up & take to a local park / bush or beach for a lovely run off leash if they have a good recall. I believe by offering my clients a more personal service for their dogs we can form a better relationship with each client & really get to know & in most cases actually come to love your special dog. We absolutely love what we do, I know my dogs we are currently walking really enjoy their time out with us, they are the most appreciative little faces. We believe we do bring true value in stimulating your dog throughout their day with exercise and fun. I love my dogs & I totally love

We're on the lookout for passionate individuals who adore spending time with our furry friends to join our team as Dog Walkers! 🚶‍♂️🐕

As a contractor, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the joy of dog walking while exploring the scenic beauty of Auckland's North Shore. 🏞️ Plus, you'll be making tails wag and hearts happy every day!

Here's what we're looking for:

🐶 Good with dogs and genuinely love spending time with them.
🏠 Reside locally and ready to start ASAP.
🚗 Have access to a small station wagon or hatchback for transportation.
🤝 Possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow our procedures and protocols.
⏰ Flexible availability between 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM.
💼 While hours aren't guaranteed initially, we're working hard to grow our canine clientele.
🔑 Honesty, integrity, and reliability are non-negotiable. We value trust as we enter people's private properties and homes.

Can anyone help with the rehoming of this lovely girl?
Genuine interest only. Asking on behalf of one of my dog walking contractors. This is his neighbour's dog.
*Both owners are elderly and have become unwell and require care.

Her papers state ‘cattle cross’
I believe she has the speed and temperament of a Greyhound……low energy, doesn’t bark, although can, gentle and even tempered.
She is excellent with cats, very gentle around children. All in all a wonderful companion.
She is 2 years 5 months old, microchipped and vaccinated.

Beware of the potential danger posed to dogs by ingesting karaka berries. These berries, found on the karaka tree (Corynocarpus laevigatus), contain a highly toxic substance known as karakin. Ingesting even a small quantity of these berries can lead to severe poisoning in dogs, manifesting in symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and, in extreme cases, neurological issues. It is crucial to keep a close eye on your pets, especially in areas where karaka trees are prevalent, and take immediate action if you suspect ingestion. If you suspect your dog has consumed karaka berries, seek veterinary assistance promptly, as the toxicity can be life-threatening. Prevention, such as keeping dogs away from areas with karaka trees and promptly removing fallen berries, is the key to safeguarding your furry companions from this potential hazard. 🐕🐾🐩🍒🌳🤮

I pick up dogs from their property & take them to a local park or beach for a lovely run or walk usually off leash. I know my dogs, they are the most appreciative little faces I have ever seen. I hear barking & howling of joy already as I pull up in my car. I love my dogs & I really enjoy what I do. Best job ever!
