Jody Hartstone put a remit to Dressage NZ to make the use of nosebands optional and it has been passed and will be entered into the rules!
That's right! It is NO LONGER COMPULSORY TO USE A NOSEBAND in dressage tests in New Zealand. This is POSSIBLY A WORLD FIRST!!
This is fantastic news!
At Muriwai Stables we are already fans of the no noseband.

Dressage Wintec 500. It is 17.5” flock. Currently has a black gullet in it. Saddle is sound, been checked by a professional saddle fitter. Some wear and tear as per photos. 650.00

Are you looking for a beautiful, safe horse to go hacking on and enjoy adult ride, low level competitions?

Meet Delta. 17yr old mare approx. 16:1hh. Her full name is San Mateo Bling, and she is a station bred or crossbreed. Her sire is the Palomino San Mateo Don Deluxe.

Delta is an easy horse to have around, so much so that if the new owner wished she could stay at her current livery. If you are returning to riding or don’t have enough time this is the perfect set up. Very friendly, helpful environment, where your horse is looked after for you, and lessons are offered.

Delta has previous had a foal, been used for dressage and then with her current owner as a pleasure horse. The only reason Delta is up for sale is that the owner has moved overseas. Delta has fantastic manners, great to shoe, worm, float, catch etc.

Delta has had her Sacroiliac joint injected, 2 months ago and is remaining sound and enjoying a variety of work. If you are looking for a jumping horse this is not the horse for you! This can be discussed further with any interest in her. Full disclosure given. A top home, for a top horse is paramount.

Really sad about this one!
My beautiful Stella is looking for a new home. We've had lots of fun adventures out and about, she truly is amazing, lovely temperament, easy in new environments and hacks out alone or in company.
She loves a canter on the beach, but happily plods on the buckle. Don't be fooled though she is a solid girl with plenty of power, so will need an experienced rider.
Finding the right home is very important and I'm not in any rush. 155cms, 12 yrs Stationbred.
She will come with her full wardrobe and 2 saddles (GP & Dressage) PM for more info.
