The many sounds of Maddie!
This 15-year-old is just the sweetest lady – and she's looking for a home to spend her golden years in 🥹 If you could offer her a space to call her own (free of other pets or young kids), you'll get the most loving, affectionate companion in return. Snuggles, headbutts, and scintillating conversation are just a few of her favourite hobbies, and you'll get an unlimited amount of all three!
Like many senior pets, she has some particular health needs, but our care team will talk you through them. If you've never considered bringing an older animal home, it can be one of the best choices you ever make – they're so, so loving, and just waiting for a warm, safe place to settle into. Get in touch with our Māngere Centre team today if Maddie could be yours, and visit our site to learn more about her 💙 https://www.spca.nz/adopt/animal/346705/cat-maddie-auckland
Join Dame Denise of World Brand NZ in meeting Cecil, one of the dogs available to adopt at the SPCA Mangere centre! 🐶🩵
Cecil is a kind hearted and loving gentleman who is very well loved around the centre 🩵 He is always keen to say hi to our staff and volunteers, and loves nothing more than to cuddle up with his human 🥰 He is the best boy you can ever ask for! 🥹
It takes a while for him to warm up when you first meet him, but as you can see in the video, he’s warmed up nicely with Dame Denise after meeting her for the first time 🤗
Cecil is happy to go to an active and loving family, and will do great with a playmate 🐶🐾 If Cecil sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please don’t hesitate to put an application through the website linked below!

We saw Suzi trying to play with the lambs on her walk today and just HAD to share this video with you guys! 😆 She was very confused why they didn't want to play with her 💔 While she won't make the best farm dog, she would be the perfect companion for an active family who will play with her to her heart's content 🥰
Suzi has been with us for couple months and is still looking for her forever family. We can't believe she is still here! 🥺 Due to her rambunctious personality, she will need someone with the knowledge to teach her to become the best girl she can be.
Suzi is available to adopt from our Mangere centre. If you are interested in meeting and potentially taking her home, please put an application though on our website! 🩷

🐾💚 Fred Appreciation Post 🐶🐾
Our handsome boy Fred has been ready for adoption for more than 60 days and not a single person has come down to meet him! 💔
He is an absolute trick master who has learnt sit, touch, spin, and jump, just to name a few! He has an active mind and is looking for a home who can challenge him and give him plenty of physical exercise. 🌞
Ideally, Fred would be your only pet so he can soak up all the attention he deserves! He would also do well in a home with an older calmer dog. ☘️
If you're looking for a loyal companion and a hiking buddy to take on adventures, please register to adopt Fred today!
