Winter ❄️ | Supplementary Feeding

Horses burn more calories over winter to keep warm. This combined with less pasture, means it is necessary for owners to make up this calorie shortfall.

Sometimes it may be as simple as increasing the amount of current supplementary feed being fed.

A simple and effective change can be to add a calorie dense feed stuff to the existing ration. The base of the diet remains the same and by adding a low intake calorie dense supplement you are increasing the overall calorie intake of the ration to achieve desired weight gains.

Both ‘Dunstan Extruded Rice’ and ‘Dunstan Muscle n’ Shine’ are ideal to use in this situation adding calories and assisting with both body condition and ‘topline’ development. ✨

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new depot in Havelock, serving the Havelock/Rai Valley and Sounds areas.

📍Find us at the Havelock Service Station, 82 Main Rd, Havelock. ⛽️

To make things even more convenient, we will be offering free deliveries to the Havelock mail boat or Johnsons barge. 🚢

🤳Placing your feed order with OsFeed is super easy Just contact us via Messenger, email, or phone before Tuesday at 5 pm, and your feed will be ready for pick up at the Havelock Service Station from 6.30 am to 7 pm, 7 days a week.

🛒For quick and easy access, a limited range of feed will also be available for purchase directly at the service station.

First of all, we want to extend a huge thank you for your support as we've introduced OsFeed products to Nelson. Your response has been fantastic, and we appreciate your support of our local business 🙌.

Over the past few months, we've been offering free delivery to make it easier for you to try our products. However, we're reaching a point where continuing the Free Delivery Service is no longer feasible for us. We're a small business with limited resources, and it's become challenging.

But here's the good news📣: We're taking steps to ensure you can still access our products conveniently.

🚚 Introducing the OsFeed Nelson Distribution Site 🚚

Starting today, Nelson customers can place orders by calling our Blenheim Office at 03 5778323 during office hours. You'll receive an online invoice, and you can collect your products from our APPLEBY Distribution Site at the specified times:

📦 Wednesday: 5pm to 6pm
📦 Friday: 9am to 12 noon
📦 Saturday: 9am to 12 noon

To keep things simple, please have your Purchase Order Reference ready when you come to pick up your products.

🐓 Product Selection 🐖

Initially, we're offering our renowned "Happy Hen Meal" in 20kg bags. If you've received drummed product from us, feel free to use those drums to store your bagged products. For those without drums, you can purchase additional empty ones.

We're also excited to introduce "Porky Pig Meal," another excellent product, available in 20kg bags. These blends are well-known for their nutrition and great results for Laying Hens and Growing Pigs.

We're open to expanding our product range based on your preferences, so let us know what you'd like us to stock.
