As the name suggests this is our first bull from our Taimate heifers. The pedigree behind this bull speaks for itself, with grand sire Taimate Ossie. 121 is a good deep bull with a strong compact frame, we really like this bull. He sits in the top 4% EMA, 12% IMF, and has a good BW.

Okiwi 132, THICK is what this guy is. 132 has generated a bit of interest from agents and visitors. He's good on the eye, a nice deep bull with good feet to match. Top 2% EMA, 10% IMF and 12% milk. Well balanced on calving traits and a stand out in phenotype. With a strong head and jaw.

Okiwi 128, this lad is a beast out of one of our top cows who has produced 3 bulls in 3 years. 128 has Excellent calving traits with IMF and EMA also right up there.

This fella moves well and is structurally what we want, moderate frame that hangs meat everywhere!

We have the boys close to home now for their last few months with us.

Now that the blenheim bull sale is basically a private sale wich is a shame as it was designed buy malbrough breeders to get a footing in the stud industry, this seems to be our best option at this stage.

As the ward tour continues and we watch the updated posts roll in we are super gutted we missed this one as there was some places I really wanted to see.
But as alot of you know I work at sea aswell, and over the last 1 1/2 month's I was given the opportunity of a lifetime and one I have worked hard to get from weeks of book work and exams to get tickets i was finally given the opportunity to run sanfords biggest mussle vessel "San Nikau"
At just under 30m long, 1000 hp and carrying 100t of seafood she is the pride and joy of the fleet the crew and I worked both in golden bay and malbrough sounds from seeding, spar and block work for niwa, harvesting and farm maintenance. Thanks to all crew who helped out, the main full time skipper for handing over the helm and my manager/sanford for giving me the opportunity.

Pretty slack on the updates lately so here's a bit of this and a bitta that.
Sale bulls are shaping up nicely and will look stellar this year. Also 1 year on from planting poplars and willows in the river beds and thay look amazing and grow crazy fast can't wait to see what thay will look like in 5 years from now.
