Blenheim Canine Training Club held their Obedience Rally-o Championship Show over the weekend. This show was also our 70th birthday celebration, obedience took their first training class back in 1954, we have grown over the years, we now have Rally-o, Agility and Flygility as a sporting club, we run training classes and Championship events for all of the above.
Just a few prize giving photos, sorry didn't get them all.
Congratulations to all place getters.
Hope everyone had a good weekend I know I did. Thanks to the Judges, stewards. And everyone else involved in running the show couldn't do it without you.

For those just joined, these are my proposed casual ON LEAD walks for the next few months. It may change. Its totally FREE however we insist dogs wear a Traffic Light Bandana. We usually meet 1st or 2nd Sunday of the month depending on what is on! I usually post a week prior. 📆

A great turn out for the bandana dog walk on Sunday. 16 in total did the CGC Basic and passed. 7 from Blenheim Congratulations Zoe and Missy, Sue and Lou, Ines and Merlin, Sonya and Jackie Chan, Jenny and Reina, Murray and Roxy, Teri and Reginald. Meet Memorial Park, off Waikawa Road, entry to Marina where Games event was!

🏅 CGC (NZ Dogs' Canine Good Citizen)
is an acknowledgement by NZ Kennel Club for well behaved dogs to be assessed on manners, walking on lead, sit, stay, come and handlers basic knowledge.
BASIC - IS NOT AS HARD AS YOU THINK!

Jill has kindly offered to come over from Nelson to instruct keen dog lovers.
BASIC level can be assessed on the day (like 16 passed on Bandana Games Day!)
Simple walk, stay, good manners. Certificate and small ribbon awarded.
Then further teachings on next levels, leading to Foundation, Bronze🥉, Silver🥈 and Gold🥇 (currently in Nelson).

This is FREE for basics and training.
Any breed or cross welcome to join this casual afternoon, with optional walk and lunch in morning. Bring the family! Bandanas available ($10).

Bring TLB bandana 🚦, registration tag🏅, poo bags🧻, own water, and good vibes!

We have a fresh supply of more Bandana's so few extra Traffic Light Bandana's will be handy on the day for $10 ea.🚦

Please remind yourself of the rules..on lead, no coughs, respectful fun group 😆.
All welcome, with or without 🐕.
