Tuxedo has surged into the top contenders for next month's Gr.1 New Zealand Derby following a dominant victory in the Gr.2 Legacy Lodge Waikato Guineas 🤩

The talented gelding, trained by Shaune Ritchie & Colm Murray, has now had five starts, securing three wins, including two at group level after his previous triumph in the Gr.3 Wellington Stakes.

Ridden by Joe Doyle, Tuxedo made a powerful move down the straight, finishing with a strong surge to win by three and a half lengths 🙌

A $70,000 purchase from Book 1 of Karaka 2023 by Grant Barnett, who co-owns the horse with six others, Tuxedo has now accumulated $465,785 in earnings.
