Hello everyone

This has really been a very quiet year for us most likely due to the increase of living costs, unfortunately because of this we're closing our doors for the foreseeable future.
With my daughters health condition and other commitments I'm also really struggling to find motivation to keep pushing to get sales.

So over the next few weeks i will be getting ready for a big sale to clear out all my current stock.
Prices will be reduced as i just want as much gone to loving homes as possible.

I will no longer be accepting any orders from new customers but will continue with my current wholesale customers.
If you've ordered from me in the past please still feel free to contact me as i'm happy to make for you and I will still try to do some markets as time allows.

We're terribly sorry about this.

So we've been pretty quite lately!
We've had a lot of things going on at home with urgent renovations and my daughters health, but we're super excited to announce (even though it's super late!) That we will be at the Riccarton market tomorrow with our dog gear AND our dahlias!

Our final orders (for custom gear) date before Christmas is the 9th of December for postage on the 10th!

My daughter and will be heading up to Auckland to see her dad before coming home on the 20th, so after that we cannot garuntee delivery will be before Christmas!!

It's been a long time coming but we finally found the perfect rescue to donate this beautiful lead and collar set!

We have donated this set to Chained Dog Rehabilitation & Rehoming NZ

This is a transparency post, this set was a customer order we received several months ago.
Unfortunately they received their gear and where not happy with the colour, but as a custom order i do not issue refunds unless their is a fault with the gear.
I was sent back the gear against my wishes and therefore i cannot onsell the items.

We like to be transparent with everyone when issue like this occur so you know we are a trustworthy business to support!

May: Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month.

On the 15th of March our precious Victoria Chaya Farr was born, two weeks early at 2.5 kgs, but her little lungs were already able to kick some butt.
I immediately noticed her phglemy breathing and in myself i knew it wasn't normal.
22nd of March we received the news that her bloods had come back with a positive result for Cystic Fibrosis.
8th of April both Paul and I found out we both carried different cystic fibrosis genes and that Victoria had received one gene from each of us, resulting in a genetic positive result for Cystic Fibrosis.

Since then my precious little warrior has had multiple blood tests, p*e and p**p tests which have all come back looking more and more likely that she does indeed have cystic fibrosis.
She takes Creon an enzyme replacement in apple puree and salt to set her up early with a positive start.
She's already been through two rounds of antibiotics, antenausea meds and has been battling oral thrush as a result of these meds
She has had one hospital stay for almost four days because of a cold and she's only just gone 6 weeks.
My precious little warrior came into this world fighting this genetic condition and is getting stronger and stronger each day,
Some days i can't get off the couch as she only wants her mama, but I'm counting each day like that as a precious bonding time with my beautiful little girl.

When we decided on Victoria's name we had no idea at the time how important her middle name "Chaya" would become.
Chaya is Hebrew for Life.

If you Google cystic fibrosis one of the first things they tell you is that life expectancy is 30-40 yrs, this absolutely broke us, no parent should be told that they'll out live their child.
I hang onto her name everyday and speak LIFE over my beautiful girl.
We will get through this and we will cherish every day with our precious little Chaya.
I am so looking forward to seeing the person she becomes.

We've been battling some health issues ( we will do a post about it soon) with our precious wee girl, and are currently in the hospital with her.
