The time is rolling around quickly so a heads on our judges for 2023. We are super excited to have such a great panel. I will place the groups they are doing in the comments field on the post. Entries will be available online by end of week so you can spread your entries out... We have some speciality shows running the same weekend so please support the single breed clubs and Juniors. The South Island Beagle Club, Mainland Staffordshire Club, Canterbury Afghan Club,
Last South Island Show for the year.and it will be a great weekend.

Hi All, Canterbury Junior Kennel Society is underway with the planning of our December shows. So we are now calling for any of you wonderful people that would be interested in supporting this great club. We have always appreciated your support with the donation of Sashes this helps us out tremendously.
This year we will be bringing over the following judges to judge 3 groups each day plus BIS

Jira Sattapunkeeree - Thailand
Ulla Greenwood - Brisban
NZ Judge to judge one group each day plus stakes to be decided in the next week.

If you are interested in donating In show, group or Stakes please let me know. Juniors will be contributing to the overall cost of sashes as costs have increased we have increased cost by $5.00 per Group.

Treasurer required for Canterbury Juniors

Sadly we have had our wonderful treasurer resign due to other commitments and we are sad to see Carrie go, but wish her all the best. I personally have enjoyed working with her and we have had a lot of fun. So we now need someone that may be interested in looking after the books and working with our small committee.

CANTERBURY JUNIORS AND UNITED BULL BREEDS SHOWS 10/11 DECEMBER

I would like to advise that due to health reasons both CJKS and UBBA report sheets have not been able to be completed. I am currently judging in Hastings and will try and complete report sheet on my return.

Numbers and starting time for CJKS were sent yesterday morning to everyone online for those that didn’t t see that Judging will commence in all rings at 8.30am. Puppy stakes will run in heats with the grand veteran and spayed and neutered prior to best in show. I have got all payments up to date so to those who have not paid please do so to those that have and it is still showing as not paid I will sort but in several instances the money has been banked into wrong account this will be sorted.

Please no one contact Donna if you have any questions please contact me or Aimee Pycroft and we will assist you. Please no negative comments this was unforeseen and we appreciate your patience.

UBBA will not start before 3pm as our judge is also judging at ellesmere once started we may have to stop for all breeds club but am hoping a smooth run through. Don’t forget pizza and drinks available to UBBA exhibitors.

WAIMATE / ELLESMERE / CANTERBURY JUNIORS
ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE OUR UPCOMING CLUSTER OF SHOWS.
• Our previously cancelled weekend of shows from February are back in the Calendar and the organising committee are well under way to bring you a fabulous weekend. We have stood by our commitment to our wonderful NZ judges and are very excited to have them all coming. The weekend will be fun and festive so come along and join us for the last weekend of shows for 2022.
• After the new ruling of 2 champs for All Breeds clubs. Waimate and Canterbury Juniors took this opportunity to have another champ show each and bring in some offshore judges we are currently in talks with several judges from across Australia and as soon as contracts are signed you will be updated, this will hopefully be within the week.
Come and join these wonderful committees and lets make the end of 2022 memorable.

WAIMATE, ELLESMERE AND CANTERBURY JUNIORS

The committee’s of Waimate, Ellesmere and Canterbury Juniors would like to sadly announce that our shows will be cancelled/postponed. The committee has worked tirelessly trying to come up with a way to hold these shows following the Government Guidelines, having to bear in mind these guidelines can change overnight. The committees were concerned for the safety of our judges/stewards health despite their willingness to proceed. Ensuring the safety of our Exhibitors and their families is also very important. The committee’s would also like to maintain the social aspect of our shows and can only hope that the next date we try for will give us this option…
The committee would like to thank you all for your support and patience and also say a huge thank you to those who were sponsoring ribbons, and to our main sponsor Nutrience.

We will come back to you with a new date ASAP

Right all you dog show lovers - Get your entries in for this awesome weekend of Championship shows, great judges lineup, a few specialties running too and three great clubs working along side each other having fun. - There is Grand Veteran and Spayed and Neuter Stakes as well. Plus overall Veteran In Show Winner from the 3 shows to compete at conclusion of show 3 BIS.

I tried so hard to win it but was not meant to be.

One Sista to Anotha are speechless . What amazing support we have had for this wonderful cause. It so nice to be able to do something for those that are going through a hard time. Canterbury Juniors would like to thank everyone for contributing to this fundraiser and we would all like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2021.
