After much deliberation, we have made the decision to close unleashed. It wasn't a decision we came to easily, but like every small business at the moment, rising costs have made it unfeasible to continue trading without raising our prices. We know every household out there is struggling at the moment, and putting our prices up just didn't sit right with us.

We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the last two years. It was one crazy, hectic ride, but we loved every minute of it!

Yesterday was a big day in our house, as my number one assistant and chief product tester Drex turned 3! Drexy boy you have only been with us for 18 months, but it feels like you have always been part of the family. You drive me crazy most days (like all kids do) but we couldn't imagine our family without you in it. Happy birthday you good boy.

P.s - keep an eye out on our website soon for the new cake I created in honour of Drex's birthday. I think I'm going to call it 'wanna bone?' 😆

Just a reminder that I sometimes book out a few weeks in advance, so if you are wanting to order a cake it's always best to contact me a few weeks before hand. I've had to turn down a few requests for cakes recently due to demand, and I feel terrible disappointing people!

Oh my goodness, this lockdown life must have everyone at home thinking about spoiling their fur babies! We have been absolutely swamped with orders recently, and we are almost full up for this coming week! So if you are wanting to treat your pup to a cake or cupcakes make sure you book in soon! Also a reminder to check in with us prior to ordering a cake from our website, just to make sure your preferred day is still available!
For now though, Drex and I are off to enjoy the sunshine with a nice long walk 💕

After months of cell phone problems, constant queries to spark, a new sim card annnnnd a new handset, I'm pleased to say our phone issues are resolved!!

A massive apology to anyone who has tried unsuccessfully to contact us. We are currently operating as usual, and still have a couple of spaces left for next week if anyone is looking for a cake.

This story absolutely breaks my heart 💔 This poor young boy must be absolutely beside himself. If anyone knows anything, please return this pup to his rightful owners. You can drop the puppy off at any rescue center or any vets.

Let's get this little guy home!

UPDATE - puppy has been reunited with his family!

On Tuesday at 3pm a young man was walking this puppy to the dairy on the corner of Champion Street/Bealey Ave in Edgeware. He tied his puppy up and went inside, only to come out and find his baby gone.
Imagine how this would feel as an adult. Then put yourselves in a 14yr olds shoes.
CCTV footage shows a spineless male in grey track pants, maroon hoodie and a beanie grab the puppy and then run across the road where another person is waiting in a hatchback.
PLEASE if you know where this puppy is, return it to a vet, our shelter, the pound, ANYWHERE SAFE, No questions asked.
DO NOT PROTECT THESE F$ !!
If they can steal a puppy from a 14yr old boy they don’t deserve your silence.
SPEAK UP and help reunite this boy with his baby!

We are back from the Christmas break, and are so excited to be getting back to baking delicious treats for your pampered pooches. While the holiday period gave us some wonderful time with the family, we were also busy working away on our sparkly new website!

It's still needing some tweaks and improvements, but anyone who knows me knows I'm not at all techy, so I'm incredibly proud of how far it has come so far. Now you can order goodies for you pup quickly and easily, any time of the day (or night!)

Check it out next time you want to place an order! And better yet, any orders placed through the website during January will receive a few bag of banana and blueberry training treats, valued at $10! No need to do anything, they will automatically be added to every order we receive.

And we are done for the year! The last three months have been an absolute whirlwind, and we want to say a huge thank you to all our customers for making our first few months of business a success. We are taking a break until January 11th to enjoy some much needed time with the family, but we will be back bigger and better in 2021.

We are celebrating here at Unleashed HQ! After 6 long months of crate rest, our beautiful boy has finally been given the all clear by the vet 😊 We are over the moon to finally be able to let him do what dogs do naturally! And how did we celebrate his first night of freedom you ask? Why by letting him sleep on the bed with our eldest son of course!

It's a beautiful day here in Christchurch today, and I've spent the morning wandering around all the stalls at the The Barkery Mākete checking out all the fabulous local canine producers.
