I hope you're all set for a relaxing public holiday!

I'm having a stroll with my boys (Ollie & Pilot), finishing an assignment and then catching up with my wonderful friend Rebecca! 🐈

Teddy and Lulu are just too cute! Boy do these two have some fur though. Without regular grooming, their coats are completely unmanageable. With a combination of outdoor adventures in which they collect vegetation and get wet whenever possible, and a thick, long double coat, Teddy and Lulu are the perfect recipe for matts. This visit they just needed a tidy up rather than a big de-matt session which is so much nicer for them (and me!).

You can book an appointment to have this administered by a qualified Vet Nurse, or we offer free delivery in our regular service areas.

We carry Revolution, Bravecto and Milpro but may also be able to supply your preferred brand. We stock and supply many other products including pet food and calming supplies. Whatever you need, just ask!

The state of Gordon 😹 Today the foster kittens all received their monthly flea treatments, nail trim and had a weigh in. As Blitz and Dash were timid kittens, we use lots of positive reinforcement for anything like this. Gordon can't miss out of course and gets VERY enthusiastic about his treats.

Blitz 💜

Our pretty little lady is also on the hunt for her forever home. Blitz is still a work in progress, but she will be so worth the extra effort! Like her brother, Blitz was very scared when she came into the rescue. She has already come such a long way. From hissing and hiding, she now accepts pats and neck scratches. We haven't heard a hiss in weeks and we hear her little purr every single day. Blitz also loves playtime and other cats! She follows all of our big cats around with the most adoring look on her face.

Blitz is still easily startled and doesn't like to be picked up yet, but we know she is going to be such a loving little lady when she finds her people. If you are considering adding to your family and have a quieter household, please consider our shy little girl.

I don't understand how my beautiful wee foster boy Dash has had NO interest. Who wouldn't want to add this little cutie to their family?!

Dash has come such a long way. He was such a scared timid little thing when he arrived. He now loves attention, pats, scratches, playtime and even being picked up and cuddled. I'm no longer allowed to use the toilet unassisted. Dash insists on sitting on my knee every single time.

Dash LOVES any toy on a stick. Whenever he has free reign of the living room, he gathers every single stick toy from the toy box and takes them to his room.

All these adorable quirks, his massive purr and those good looks, what's not to love?!

I love these two!

Mojo is such a regal old man and Asha just didn't get the memo she is meant to be a white and floofy girl. She spends most of her time sleeping outside in silly places getting her self good and dirty. She COULD come inside any time she fancied but that would just make everyone's lives too easy.

Who remembers Ellie?

She is one of my few dog grooming clients! Ellie and I have developed a good relationship over several years - I've actually known her since she was a puppy in one of my puppy preschool classes - and she has come to trust me with her nails, a**l glands and grooming. I don't take on a lot of dog grooming clients as I prefer to work with the elderly or distressed dogs who can't cope with a regular salon. It's hard work to begin with, but it is so wonderfully rewarding when I gain their trust. 💜

I think it's a pretty good haircut for a qualified nurse not a qualified groomer! ✂️

Today is Hiccup's second birthday! 🎂

In his short little life, Hiccup has had a lot of medical challenges. He already has three major surgeries under his belt and a future full of pain medication. This doesn't phase him in the slightest. Hiccup is the most happy-go-lucky little individual. He adores all of the other cats and is missing Brandy more than any of the other cats.

Hiccup very rarely gets called Hiccup! It started with Hiccup-a-lump and from there; Lumpy, Lumpy-Doodle and finally Doodle-Bug. Most of the time it's just Lumpy, Doodle or Bug. 🐞

Nursing Pawfection has a new temporary family member. Meet our foster kitten - Gordon! Gordon is estimated to be about 4 weeks old and is very underweight. He was dropped off at Kitty Cottage Rescue last night and joined us this morning. He is named after Gordon Ramsay as he does so much yelling 😅 Gordon will be busy growing, gaining body condition, probably yelling and of course being outrageously adorable over the next few weeks. He will then be desexed and on the search for his new home. ❤️ How exciting! Even healthy kittens cost a lot to raise, so if you want to help Gordon or other kittens like him, donate to your local rescue. Every little bit helps. #fosterkitten #blackcatsrule
