Just a heads up that I am heading away soon for 6 weeks. Last weekend of clipping before I go will be the 11/12th of May. Will be back again in time for Matariki weekend!

Clipping season is upon us again! I’ve had some enquiries and yes, I will be back clipping this year.
As usual please get in touch early if you are wanting to book in as I will be limited to weekends only once daylight savings ends (unless you have good lights).

Prices are $95 for hunter type, or $120 for a full clip including legs

Clipping season is approaching us fast with the ponies starting to grow some winter woolies! I’ve had a few people check in already so thought I’d let everyone know that I will be available for clipping again this winter.
Availability will be limited as I’m working full time now, will have weekends free and can do evenings if you have good lights!

Well the days have definitely started getting longer and the horses have started losing some hairs which means it’s time to start thinking about end of season clip outs!
A full body clip now will save you hours of brushing out winter coats and your horses summer coat will come in sooner too!
Hunter clips (leaving legs) $85, and full body with legs off $110.
I’m working full time now so only have limited times available. Please get in touch to book in!

Well it’s that time of year again! As many of you know I’ve been away in Southland for work. I will be home over Easter for a clipping run though so please get in touch so I can add you to my list (which is growing already!) to avoid a situation like the pic 😉
I am also working on being back permanently in the next month or so for those who aren’t ready at Easter.

Also as a quick reminder horses must be washed (scrubbed with shampoo!) the day/night before and covered so that they are CLEAN and DRY. This saves my blades and ensures you get the best possible clip with the least amount of lines.

With the days starting to get longer and getting closer to spring now is the time to be thinking about final clips to avoid moulting and prepare for the season and a nice summer coat!

Hi everyone, with all this lovely weather we’ve been having I know our horses are all feeling a bit warm!

I have heard from MPI that we are allowed to clip during level 3 provided we follow necessary precautions. So if you have horses that can be tied up safely while clipped and are keen to have them done feel free to send me a message!

Otherwise I can clip any horses as normal once we reach level 2
