‼️ Attention Halswell Dog Owners ‼️

As many of you may have seen, there’s been a rise in Parvovirus cases across Christchurch. We want to assure you that we have not had any cases at Ourvets Halswell, but it’s important to remain vigilant ♥️

🐶 Check your dog’s vaccination records – is everything up to date? If you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to give us a call, and our friendly team will be more than happy to check this!

🐶 Avoid high-risk areas like dog parks and busy dog-friendly spots until your dog or puppy is fully vaccinated and protected.

Signs to watch for:

Diarrhoea 💩
Vomiting 🤢
Fever 🌡️
Lethargy 😴
Loss of appetite 🐾

Parvovirus is highly contagious and can even be deadly in some cases. The virus can survive in the environment for months (even years!) so it’s crucial we all work together to keep our furry friends safe 🤍

When Lexi first started her weight loss journey with us, she weighed in at 42kg—her heaviest.

Starting her on Royal Canin Satiety food, which has kept her feeling full and helped her lose weight with the support of regular weight loss consultations with our fabulous consult nurse Robyn and alongside the dedication of her loving owners, Lexi has lost almost 10kg! 🐾💪

Today, Lexi is absolutely glowing! She’s got a beautiful shiny coat and so much more energy to run, play, and enjoy life. We're so proud of her incredible progress! 🌟 Keep it up, Lexi! ❤️

She was found on Caulfield Ave off Murphys Road, She has no microchip unfortunately.

She has a long white coat with a grey tail and grey patches on her head,
