Woody is a stunning little Welsh pony. With an absolutely beautiful character. He has been with us for 6 years and has been schooled in lunging, good on voice command. He is very smart and very willing to learn. Still has to learn the fine tuning of riding and jumping but will do anything for you.
We started Woody on the lunge, and he learned very quickly, he is a 1 or 2 times and he gets it pony. What makes him very special. Under saddle still a little bit unsure but absolutely no dirt when he has guidance. A lot of potential in him for showing, lead rein or showjumping.
Born out: Stonefields Pen Draig & Fair Gala Wilhomena
Has been in the riding school, holiday program and MiniShow in hand. Been dressed up and taken through obstacle courses and loved it! He has been out to and trough the river and out on the trails.
Good for farrier, vet and dentist.

Out Of the Box Time everyone! Always been curious about horses, but not really want to ride a horse? Try out our "Meet & Greet the Magnificent Horse" adventure. Learn to safely touch, feel, listen, and observe. Meet our very well behaved, gentle friendly giants and/or our well-mannered big hearted smaller crewmembers. They are more than willing to get to know you and maybe teach you a little about yourself 😉.

All ages welcome!
Great for groups, colleagues, birthday party, bucket list, bachelor parties, school groups etc.

What an awesome two weeks it has been! Lots of fun, new friendships made and all round a great School Holiday Programme here at Waimak River Riding Centre, special thank you to our coach Sacha, who did a brilliant job with the kids over the last two weeks, teaching them all they need to know and also making sure the kids were safe and that they were having fun!

Last day of the first week School Holiday Program. What a great week and what a lot of horse fun! Horseball, trek, arena games and so on. Thanks to everyone involved and the forever wonderfull ponies this was, again, a fantastic week. We hope everyone had a great time, we loved having you 😄!
