About Us....

Whittaker Equine Stables is located in Springston, Canterbury. Jeff has been Professional Horse Training for over 38 years including Breeding and Yearling Preparation along with Trace and family Cara, Josh, Luke and Steffi.

Josh is now a fully qualified Equine Dentist completing his study in Melbourne, Australia and practises throughout New Zealand. He also helps out in the Stable and is a current Harness Racing Junior Driver.

Luke is also a Harness Racing Junior Driver and is employed by Tony Herlihy in the North Island and has 5 wins to date in his first season.

Steffi is also involved in the Stable and her passion is Show Jumping and she has represented New Zealand in the FEI Children’s Challenge Team and then travelled to Morocco to represent NZ in the FEI Jumping Challenge Final. She is the current Pony of The Year Winner from 2017.
