Below is a screenshot of some (not all) of my overdue payments from clients.

I pour my heart and soul into training, schooling, and fixing horses for my clients, to get the best result possible. However, I’m struggling with unpaid invoices, it’s making it seriously hard to keep things running smoothly.

Somehow, people think it’s okay to drop off their horses, let me work on them, feed them, truck them, compete them etc. (sometimes for months), pick them up, and then not pay me??

I get times are tough for everyone right now, but that doesn’t mean someone else is paying my bills while you think it’s okay not to pay yours.

Please, if you’ve recently picked up your horse and haven’t settled your bill, make sure to do so as soon as possible. This doesn’t just go for me, it goes for all small businesses. From now on, I have to enforce payment before pick up.

Thanks for understanding and supporting my business. I know it’s only a few in a great bunch - so I am grateful for that, but I do want to bring it to light as it is very disheartening 💔

Horses will be on hold for a bit due to an infection spreading up my tendon. What started as a tiny cut has led to two surgeries, and now a few weeks of rehab. Hopefully, I'll be back at it soon!

I've rated this horse highly from day one, so I decided to buy him. The first few videos show the day I purchased him. I could feel he was trying, and his jump had potential, but he didn't quite know what he was doing. After three jump sessions, he's starting to find his legs and is giving me everything I felt on that first day. Welcome to the team Lucas ❤️

It’s been a big week.. I’m so proud of my horses ❤️

Costello being my number one team mate jumped amazing. From being a ex bronc horse to taking a win at the show really means a lot.

Gustavus jumped out of his skin for a green horse. He really did impress me and is a champion in the making

Wild Card taking out Res champ. She’s a absolute champ. I’m very proud and greatful to be able to ride this horse on behalf of Jordan and Cam Scott. She has made many of my dreams come true ❤️

It takes a army for this week to happen. I’m so lucky to have such a supportive team behind me!

I often get asked, 'Do you love your job? Do you get sick of horses?' The truth is, yes, there are moments when I get tired of dealing with horses and the challenges that come with it. But despite that, I absolutely love my job. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to live the lifestyle that I do.

Being in this line of work isn't all sunshine and rainbows; there's a lot of blood, sweat, and tears involved. I've experienced broken bones, the thrill of winning trophies, and the ups and downs of making and losing money. I've also had the opportunity to meet so many incredible people along the way.

So, while there are undoubtedly tough days, the rewards and experiences I've gained far outweigh the challenges. This job has provided me with a unique way of life, and for that, I'm truly grateful.

I have saved the best gizzy to last… “Great things require patience." This has been a challenge but I finally got there with a lot of help with my Dad.

2 days in between these photos. It has taken a lot of trust and bravery to get to this point but I really think this one is special. Doing these young horses is very rewarding… it can be a tough gig at times 🐴

I had a awesome holiday in Rarotonga while also managing to compete 5 horses in waimate the same week. Incredibly proud of cover girl taking a win in 120cm and stepping up to her first 130cm for a 3rd. It’s fair to say I can ride a horse better than a scooter 🤍
