I have been running Pawsitive Steps Dog Training since 2003 and simultaneously was the course coordinator of Canine Behaviour and Training at the Institute of Technology (Unitec) until February 2020. I worked as a qualified Animal Welfare Officer and Animal Control Officer in Auckland and Waitakere Councils for eight years prior. In these capacities, I have helped hundreds of dogs and dog owners b

etter understand their relationships with their dog and students to reach their potential within the canine industry.

The last class of Perfect Puppy Group Class for this round. What Perfect Puppy's they have become. Confidence, socal anxiety, play, being calm and listening has improved 100%. Well done everyone and I look forward to seeing you progress. 🐾🤗👏👍😎🐾

The Basic Manners class took their traing to the park. Working on the dogs focusing on the handler around distractions. Other dogs, bikes, joggers kids playing. They did great, nice work everyone 👏 🐾😎👍🐾

Whilst we were out with Lexus we bumped into Lilly and Mum. Lilly attended Perfect Puppy and Basic Manners group class. They are doing fantastic, brilliant focus, off lead walking dutifully beside Mum and buggy as a large group of people walked past. A proud moment nice work. 👏🐾😍🤗😎

The lovely Lexus is getting more confidence. Starting to play, explore and coping better around, bikes, people and loud sound's. Still a long way to go, but we are heading in the right direction. 😎🐾🤗😍🐾

Had a catch up with Lilly and Harry. Mum has been working hard over Christmas. Harry's reactivity was non existent today. Did a great recall when a off lead dog came running up and handed it perfectly. 😎🐾👏👍😍
