Welcome to Savoir, your 'One Stop Dog Shop' for all your doggy needs. We cater for ALL dog's whether large or small, fat or thin, very hairy or short coated. We operate a 'cruelty free' grooming policy which minimizes stress on your pet and promotes good grooming practice. Our staff are all very caring and will help you in anyway possible, we LISTEN to what YOU WANT and work with that , we do not

"shave off short" every dog because its easy.. we do as you ask, (but in some cases this isn't possible if the dog is matted ) , our thoughts are that a good groom is a great business card walking out our doors, so every dog gets treated with respect and we make sure they walk out our door looking cute :) ,
our staff are here to answer any of your grooming related questions and we don't mind if you ring us with your questions either. I am sure you will be happy with our services here at savoir dog grooming, and your doggy will feel happy in our environment also :)

Hey Guys! Kennel Cough is on the rise in Christchurch. We just wanted to put a reminder out. PLEASE keep your dogs at home if they are experiencing ANY symptoms or you suspect anything. This is why it’s so important to make sure your dogs KC Vax is up-to-date. ❤️🐾

We are returning to Standard Time on Sunday at 2 am. Clocks will turn back by one hour - gaining you an extra hour to your day. If your dog lives for feeding time, this change can lead to a rough couple of days as your dog thinks you are slacking off on feeding.

Over the course of this week, feed your dog 5-10 minutes later each day. By Sunday, this means they will be accustomed to their new, regular feeding time.

Although our clocks change by only one hour, dogs and people can feel a form of jet lag because of the time difference. Be kind to one another.
