Kitten Update!

Hi Everyone, Here is a well overdue kitten update! Monkey has now left for her new home and learning to be a member of the family. Comet, Ember and Sparky continue to make improvements. Here’s a short video of Comet showing off her voice with Ember watching in the background. Comet and Ember are yet to find adoptive families. Sparky has been meeting with a potential family but we are still taking expressions of interest for him. We will also have two older cats available for adoption in the coming weeks. Please watch this space for more information.

The kitten diaries

Hi everyone! Introducing our vet Andie’s latest foster kittens. These little ones have been living in one of our lovely client’s gardens for some time but despite the care they were shown they are still frightened of people. They will be staying with our vet during lockdown while learning to trust humans. Here is our first instalment of the kitten diaries. In this video the kittens are learning to take a treat from a chopstick but as you can see they are still quite scared. We hope you will follow their journey and watch their personalities grow. All five kittens will be available for adoption when they are ready.

Our Story

Veterinarian Geoff Mehrtens is the Founder of Wigram Vets and the Good Dog Spa. He has been planning this holistic pet facility ever since just after the Christchurch earthquakes.

Wigram Vets and the Good Dog Spa includes a Vet Clinic, Animal Physical Rehabilitation Therapist, Hydrotherapy, Dog Daycare, and a Groomer.

Geoff’s vision is for a facility which caters to animal health and wellbeing. It is embodied in this new and exciting venture.
