I met these 3 cuties fresh out of the womb one night about 2 months ago when I did an emergency c-section on their Momma 🥰 what a pleasure it was to recreate this photo today when they came in for their first vaccinations 😍 (They grew up too quickly, I’d need to go to the gym if we were gonna recreate this photo every time they come in 💪🏻)

We know times are tough so for a limited time we are offering desexing and microchipping for $10 per cat (must be 4 months or older) for people on a low income in Christchurch. *Happy Visits At @takuruavets* (This is a long post but so worth reading if you have a pet who is scared at the vets) Vet clinics can be a stressful environment for some pets and their owners. To start, there are many different animal smells (some nervous hormones left behind by other fearful pets even), unusual noises and possibly other animals barking signalling that this might not be the safest environment to be in. Compound that with memories of uncomfortable past experiences such as injections, thermometers, surgery etc. A perfect storm for anxious pets. Our solution: THE HAPPY VISIT! Brief pop in’s at Takurua Vets to say hello, have a sniff around, possibly even get pats if they would like that, and get lots and lots of treats! Do this often enough and those bad vet clinic experiences may soon fade into the distant past… Our team has a million tips and tricks up our sleeve to help with nervous and anxious dogs, each dog is different and each situation is different so it’s never a one size fits all solution but we’re here to help! @asherherschel is such a gorgeous pup! His Mum @aiyanamanson knows that being a working dog by nature he may tend to become quite anxious when kept as a pet and she is putting in the work to desensitise him to common situations where he might find himself!
