Dog training for owners and dogs. General obedience, behavioural management and puppy training. My 1 on 1 training uses a transferable / handover method.

This allows me to train your dog and to then teach you how to get the same results. Initially working with the dog means I can visit and train your dog while you are at work or the gym etc, making training very time effective for you. By talking to owners about the dogs issues and owners expectations and by watching the dogs behaviour in & out of its home environment, I am able to implement a trai

ning programme that is effective for both owner and dog to get results. Originally from the UK, I have been working with dogs since 1991. I attended the Royal Airforce Police dog training and have since worked in Canada & the States to further develop my training methods. My current style is quite removed from my original training. I focus on positive reinforcement and there is no use of physical force or yelling. With these methods I am able to work with dogs even when they have an adverse history.

Friday….after lots of spinning and running about , Jax decides it’s time to take a nap.

Jax…when you have the best dance moves, why not show them off😂

This week, we have been teaching 6 month old Maddie how to walk nicely on her lead.

With a frost still on the ground in places ,we set out on a countryside walk.

Murphy practised ‘down’ from a distance on todays training walk. The other pups watched and then awarded him 10/10⭐️🐾🐾.

Murphy has been learning signal commands for , stop, sit, stay and down. Here he is practicing down, he’s such a clever pup.

Tilly has taken everything in her stride and is very confident. Today we advanced her loose lead walking, surrounded by the noises of passing traffic.

Saturday…Diesil took his new friend Tilly out for her second loose lead walking session.

Our first training session of the day is with Murphy, he’s learning to walk nicely on his lead.

Unless your dog isn’t bothered about fireworks, keep the tv on loud, curtains closed and treats/Kong to keep occupied.

Tuesday evening.. chicken couldn’t sleep, so I suggested a good wrestle to wear him out.

Earlier in the week Darwin (middle) was helped in his lessons by Satchi (left) and Diesil (right). They did a good job of stay and come back when called.
