UNFORTUNATELY, we have had a couple of dogs this week go home and come out with Canine Cough (kennel cough) after boarding. Canine cough is a mostly airborne virus-bacteria and will spread quickly with the weather turning a lot warmer and allergy season in full swing. Please ensure you don't drop your dogs off if any of the following symptoms are present in the days leading up to boarding or daycare. This is NOT limited to kennels, dogs can be exposed up to 14 days prior to symptoms showing and it can be picked up anywhere. We do require all dogs and cats to be vaccinated but as in humans this doesn't cover all strains in an ever-evolving virus. We have enforced our virus protocol and if you have any questions or concerns please contact me via email [email protected] Please refrain on negative comments or assumption's, we are all concerned and are taking all precautions set out by our vet.
