Yeux De Saphir (pronounced You-De-Saf-Air) is French for Eyes of Sapphire, one of the most striking features of the birman breed. Kittens, cats and show results. If you are lucky enough to be servant to one of the Yeux De Saphir Birmans please feel free to post updates and photos of their progress

Last cat show for the year.

Louie gained his champion title. Best eye colour 4x 7th and 1x 8th best in show.

Another awesome day at the Birman cat show in Wellington our annual pilgrimage and great to catch up with lots of other breeders from around nz.

Louie top 10 placings 2x 5th 1x 7th 1x 10th, best eye colour award and the Shinoto best lilac cat or kitten trophy (extra special as I started with a Shinoto birman pet yogi and have the them in my breeding lines) a good effort with 12 kittens in his section.

Emmy now has her champion certificate, a best groomed award and the Patrons choice trophy. 24 cats in her section she didnt place in the top 10 but still did well and enjoyed all the attention.

Just home from the 1st cat show of the season. 2 kittens entered they behaved and seemed to enjoy their day.

van Goghs Starry Night (Emmy) 5 x best of colour, best of breed 2x 3rd 3x 4th. Best eye colour. Some good comments about her colour points most judges haven't seen a lilac tortie tabby before.

Top ten placing of 10th, best of breed 3x 3rd 2x 4th. Best of colour 5x 2nd. Lovely comments from the judges he purred his way through the day. Hope he did you proud Tracey

"marshmallow fluffy" is still looking for his new home, he's a bit smaller than his brothers but makes up for it in cuteness and his adorable personality, he is lilac point. If anyone would like to know more send me a message

6 weeks old, I think we can confirm both are Lilac Tortie Tabby point girls. They are into mischief one minute then sound asleep. I've decided to keep Miss pink collar "Emmy" to add to my breeding program in the future.

4 weeks old and oh so cute. Both girls, Colourwise I'm still not 100% sure but seem to be both lilac tortie tabby. It's looking like little miss pink collar will be staying name at the top of the list Emmy

Welcome to the world to Jasmine and Elliots little cuties. Born 2 days early on Tuesday both are doing well piling on weight. Now to wait for the colours they will be Lilac but will they be tortie or tabby or tortie- tabby

Last show for the year
Decided to show Elliot for first time as an adult - he came away with his Champion title, 5 top 10 placings, 5 best of colour and a best eye colour award.

Millie came along too no top 10s but 5 best of colour and a best eye colour award.

Great weekend in Wellington at our annual Birman Cat Show, just back to our accommodations.

Millie first show in her new class after being spayed. Top 10 placings 6th, 7th, 2x 9th. Special award for best eye colour. Gained her Premier title. And best of all 2 breeders awards.
Lots if ribbons, prizes and a trophy for Alizah to show off at preschool.

Molly Top 10 placing of 10th out of 29 cats in her class.
