A fantastic way to finish off the Cromwell Carnival today, with two close seconds from Kikimora & Ugo 🤍

Kiki carried the 60kg topweight after winning so well on Friday and she was super tough, just being caught late in the Rating 65 1220m in the hands of Tina Comignaghi. Ugo travelled down for the Rating 75 1400m and performed superbly, going down in a photo finish under Jasmine Fawcett 👏🏽

Our beautiful mare Kikimora relaxing after an impressive first-up win at Cromwell this afternoon! Leading from the jump, Kiki was brilliantly rated in front by Yogesh Atchamah & kicked away in the finish to win by 2 - 1/4 lengths. Well done to Yogesh for picking up his 50th winner as well ⭐️

Congratulations to Excuse For Breakfast Syndicate, Craig Leishman, Adrian Mathieson, Robert McGillivray, Cameron Power, James Rabbette, Phil Blacktopp, Bryan Rossiter, Judy Cassells & Emma Newman who race Kiki, she has now won three races with eleven minor placings from 25 starts!

We are thrilled to purchase Lot 147, a Russian Revolution x Rosadiblu gelding from the 2024 New Zealand Bloodstock Ready To Run Sale.

By Russian Revolution, the sire of 11 stakes winners including Randwick Guineas winner Communist.

Out of Lonhro mare, Rosadiblu, a race winner over 1100 metres in Australia and a half-sister to Kangarilla Joy, runner-up in the Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes at Randwick.

This gelding was a beautifully moving horse who breezed up in 10.45. He is a horse we will see at the races in the autumn, but he looks to have the scope to train on as a three and four-year-old.

Extremely testing conditions today at Riccarton Park Racecourse with some of the team just not handling the surface under foot ☔️
Goldie's Chance went superbly for 2nd in the TAB Mile Trial, a small neat field.
Iffididit is going from strength to strength with a smoking hot win in the last on the card, the Helston Associates 75 1800m under a superb ride from Yogesh Atchamah 💙🤍

A very special win today at the Phar Lap with Annia Aurelia bearing the late Kevin Hickman's gold colours coming home a winner in the 65 1200m.
A patient ride from Agustina Comignaghi saw this mare settle in the running and weave a path through the field to power through the line.

Saluting the judge in the 75 1400m at Riccarton Park Racecourse, the last on the card today, was Iffididit, making it two wins on the bounce with Yogesh Atchamah in the saddle. A surging run down the better part of the track to gather up the leaders and get the business done. Ugo was a good run for fourth in the same race, and a very exciting performance from Lil Zena in the Listed Canterbury Belle Stakes for fourth powering home 🔥

We were happy to show off our cracking 2yo Tivaci x Suzie Kaye filly to some of her owners this morning after her training. Louis Vieceli who is a long standing friend, owner and part of the Champagne Racing Stables family from the beginning, along with son in law superstar Richie Mo'unga and the gorgeous Marley. Purchased from New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Yearling Sales on account of Windsor Park Stud we are very much looking forward to this filly's racing career 🥂💙🤍

Wowee 🔥 Goldie's Chance and Tina Comignaghi performed superbly this afternoon at Riccarton Park Racecourse to win the 75 1200m in phenomenal style. A big squeeze from the jump saw them popped out the back and against the grain of the day she picked up and put down the field with a massive run. Huge congratulations to her connections for a sublime start to her preparation 🥂What a lovely mare 🍊
Tommy Shelby went well for 3rd in the mdn 1400m maintaining his run, and El Chapeau got back from a wide gate and couldn't pick up the leaders on what was a front running day.
