Meet Ziggy 👋🏻

This handsome boy is a 5 month old, Chocolate Mink Tonkinese. Such little character, definitely making our day more ✨ enjoyable!

Ziggy was the bestest boy for his castration procedure with us recently. He was more than happy to pose for the “Ziggy Photoshoot” but you know, it is incredibly tiring being this handsome - hence the big yawn 🥱 in the last photo..

The notorious sock eater, repeat offender!

Frankie loves nothing more than eating her family’s 🧦 socks. Unfortunately, due to her small size - the socks become stuck in her stomach! A dangerous situation waiting to happen..

Her family are good at making sure their socks are not within her reach, but Frankie was a cheeky monkey 🙈 and managed to get her paws on one.

A trip into the clinic to induce vomiting and we have one woman’s adult sock! Let’s hope Frankie’s learnt her lesson 🤞🏼

Meet Lucy 👋🏻

This absolutely beautiful girl is a mixture of Beagle & Cocker Spaniel. She was such a brave girl for her spey procedure this week ❤️‍🩹

Lucy was content (& dosed up on her pain relief) having a little nap 💤 post-surgery, all wrapped up in her blankets and on top of a heat pad.

Make sure your furry companions are all up to date with their vaccines, before they head away for their kennel/cattery 🏝️ holiday.

If their vaccinations are due, please get in touch with us to schedule an appointment. Don't wait until the last minute!

If you don’t have your vaccine booklet current, you can drop it into the clinic and our nurses will update it for you. We can also 📧 email or print off a current vaccine certificate.

The caller appears to be targeting pet owners who have lost their animals, stating that the animals are being held by them, and that payment in the hundreds of dollars (to be paid over the phone) is required to retrieve them.

These callers are not affiliated with SPCA. If your animal is found by SPCA, we will never request payment in this way. If you receive a call like this, we urge you not to provide any payment over the phone and report the call to Netsafe.
