We attended a lovely friendly show on Sunday where the Kirov Cats strutted their stuff and did us proud.

Mary also was awarded overall supreme and supreme Entire Cat with her beautiful American Shorthair

The Kirov team attended the Canterbury All Beeds Cat Club show yesterday and had a great day out. We had a fabulous day catching up with old friends and newer ones and remembering why we show and have done so for so long. It’s not all about the awards and ribbons but the social side also with like minded people, and showcasing and promoting our chosen breeds to the public.

Nina was in a class of 15 Entire Kittens including the beautiful Russian Baby Of Mary’s, Haxtendorf Phyrne Fisher . They shared best Russian today and won 3 each.

Both Nina and Kaz also took a turn in the cuddle corner where they are patted and cuddled by heaps of adults and kids and they didn’t miss a beat

Yesterday, The Kirov team attended there first South Island show at the South Island Burmese Cat Club Show. We had a great day, and loved the Social Side catching up with friends.

Kirov Nina travelled to Auckland with me and did very well for her first show. She was only entered in 3 rings as I was judging the 4th and she did not dissapoint. 26 entire kittens and she placed

BNZ Dbl Gr Ch Kirov Kazanova Nat SH Sup 2022 and 2023. What can I say about my young man . Unbelievable to own and have bred a cat that has gone National SH Supreme at 2 Nationals, first at 5 months and then 17 months. So very proud of him.

Thank you to my Mum as these Kirov Russian Blues were her passion. Also thank you to Mary Hefford and Haxtendorf Cattery, my friend and breeding partner. Without her good grace to let her stud (Razzie) be the father, he would not be here.
